I've been checking in regularly to see if the lineup page switched over. I grabbed the snapshot and am ready to update the initial page, but as I have to leave for an appointment soon and still have to eat breakfast first, it may be this afternoon before I am able to do the edit.

I believe the last I checked there were a total of 17 series already confirmed by CR, but I'm still expecting at least one post somewhere on the forums from someone asking if CR is only getting 16 simulcasts this time.

It seems Food Wars S3 will be on a different show page as it's the only announced sequel not to be listed (aside from BBBS2). I wonder if that means it'll have a different publisher since that's the only time I can think of sequels not having the same show page. BBBS2 fits that as the first season lists Funimation but can you think of any other time a show kept a publisher for a sequel yet got a different show page? It's not like any of this affects us at all either way I'm just curious as that might be why CR got it instead of Sentai.

Regardless I'm just glad it's going to be on here because if Sentai got it first it would've definitely be on Anime Strike exclusively. It hasn't been confirmed but I'm totally convinced CR actually beat Sentai to the punch to license it. It's availability is worldwide ex Asia and I did see somewhere that Food Wars will be exclusively streamed on CR.

The initial message has now been updated with the section for the fall, the snapshot from this morning, and the starting count (16). I also made certain this time to note the time difference between when the lineup page changed over and when CR officially began the simulcast announcements in the Site News section of the forum. (In this case, the latter happened 3 days earlier).

My best guess is they were simply willing to make a better offer. Perhaps Sentai's sales of their home video release of the first series last month didn't start off as well as they hoped, while CR's streaming numbers have been strong.

We'll probably never know for certain.

Oof, going by the current snapshot compared to what shows up for me, it looks like we won't get Love Live Sunshine S2 in Scandinavia, despite getting expanded regions for S1 not long ago. With Daisuki being no more and Wakanim afaik not having claimed that show, I hope it's just an oversight, because otherwise that probably means no legal stream whatsoever.

I guess that means if season 3 comes to DVD it will be done by Funimation.

It does seem strange that they listed 2 shows on the lineup page that they haven't announced the regions for in either the News section or the Site News section of the forum.

As of right now, the media restriction tag is showing:
ca pr us vi gg ie im je gb as gu mp um

I believe that is the US (and its territories), Canada, Great Britain, and Ireland

They also don't have /the-idolmster-side-m listed despite the show page being up and episode 0 already being up.

I wonder why Food Wars hasn't been added yet considering they've already announced the time and everything and it premiers before some of the shows which have been added.

Updated the initial message with the latest box count (21) and snapshot.

Tsukipro appears to be the only standard length anime premiering on or before October 4 in Japan that hasn't been announced by someone as a simulcast.

Considering Monster Strike and Cardfight Vanguard aren't listed as continuing, I assume their new season will take 2 boxes on New Simulcast Titles.
