ISP will be required to meter all internet traffic in the future. Closing all loopholes and instilling even greater costs for less services than currently exist.

:) the future of the internet, freedom, what a concept.

Wouldn't bother me at all, since I don't read it.

I did read a few back (like three, tops) in junior high, but it was very short-lived because I lost interest way too quickly. /which isn't surprising because I'm not a fan of smut (or yaoi/yuri/hentai, which is all over.)

Not all of them are like that. Some published authors have started with fan-fiction works, like Cassandra Clare. Whether they're actually good at writing or not... that's another story.

Anywho, back on the topic.

I wonder what would happen if there were mass purges of fan-fiction material and their authors similar what happened during the Qin Dynasty in China.
