Its a Funimation pick-up, so more like not enough Crunchyroll love to insist Crunchyroll gets a shared stream.

My problem is that I'm having a hard enough time justifying to the Powers that Be my $8-a-month subscription to effectively watch shows a week ahead of the rest of the world. I can't swing a Funimation subscription side-by-side with this. And, w/o a Funimation subscription, I am not as likely to go to their site for simulcast shows. If someone gives me mad raves for a particular title, I'll probably binge-watch it all at once, but that's not the same as simulcast.

Back on topic, how 'stand-alone' is the Mushi-shi sequel series? Can I get by watching it stand-alone, or should I watch the first season before starting this?

And tangentially back on topic, I love how Kamigami gave Apollon the 'magical girl transformation sequence' treatment including zapping away all of his clothing and shielding his modesty with some strategically placed stuff. Tasteful reversal.

I think you can get by on Mushi-shi starting with the OVA, since its very episodic, but you'll catch more if you can catch up with the first season. Since it is very episodic, you can watch the first season in just about as many episodes at you want to sit through at a time (three or four episodes of anything is as much Hulu ads as I can take, but that's me).

Actually, you could probably watch the OVA and simulcast at Crunchryoll, and then go back and watch some episodes from season one at Hulu, and be all caught up in a month or less.

Come one, CR. Whoever it is you have to kiss or kill to get the UK rights for Wixoss, please do so. It's not like Funimation are doing anything outside of America with their rights. And, from a purely technical point of view, ading another subtitle stream and another region shouldn't be too difficult.

So, please, throw us a bone over here. Do something to soften the blow of some of the shows several of us want to see being region-blocked for your UK customers. Because for anyone who isn't as bothered about JoJo (never been tempted) or Fairy Tail (planinng to start the first lot on BD this year, but haven't yet) this season's a little bit of a let-down for the Brits.

Yeah I have the same problem, I don't mind a lot of what you have on CR but really come on! Us Brits really do get the short straw with the amount of anime, we can barely find DVD's at shops and there is no other sites other that pirated ones that stream anime.. come on just really get some of the really good stuff for us, please notice us senpai.

Both are fully legit sites available in the UK. You will also have some series available via:

http://www.daisuki.net/ and http://www.viki.com/genres/anime
