You don't need that much RAM for 1080 quality I don't think.

Well, whatever you do, just don't try and act like you're Japanese. There's too many people in the anime community mixing up their language w/ the Jap language using common overused words like Baka or ending people's names w/ San, senpai and all that other stuff. I don't know why, but it just gets on my nerves lol. Use your own language if you can't fully speak it! >.>

So that's what a weeaboo is! I've heard that term get thrown around so much, I had no idea what that even meant >.>

I don't know what you just said, but it's probably nothing good I'm guessing.

720p.

My 7 year old 37" HDTV only has a 1366x768 panel (and my computer will only use 1360x768 for some reason) so 1080p would be a bit of a waste.

For viewing on my Roku, I have the HDMI input set at 1:1 pixel mapping, so I get a true 1280 x 720 image (with a black frame around it). I prefer the sharpness to softening the image just to fill the screen.

I'm guessing you're one of those people then, yes? Can I ask why you try to pretend to be something you're not?

I usually watch 720p online, but my internet receives a grade of D to F regularly from Ookla. Every so often I have to to drop down to 480p to stream shows smoothly. On hard copies, I stick to DVD's (480p). I have a few Blu-rays, but have not found a reliable way to play and rip them on my laptop yet. I am going to keep working on it, because I would love to have that 1080p resolution in a digital copy. Maybe someday right?

720p because 1080p lags a bit with my 8 Mbit/s internet, most of the times there's almost no difference between 720p and 1080p for me because my screen is just 768p, the only time I could notice a big difference was in Wake Up, Girls! the movie, quality is a lot better at 1080p.
