no, the German was directed at Weeaboo's. Dude, your making this conversation to convoluted.

Maybe, but then again, you could also say that's your fault for speaking in a different language. How else am I supposed to know that wasn't directed towards me? You literally said "Shit, you annoy me pig".

Usually just 720. It's good enough that I don't feel bothered by the quality and still low enough that I can download and do other stuff at the same time.

720p because 1080p lags a bit with my 8 Mbit/s internet, most of the times there's almost no difference between 720p and 1080p for me because my screen is just 768p, the only time I could notice a big difference was in Wake Up, Girls! the movie, quality is a lot better at 1080p.

If your screen is only available at a 768P max, then you're not noticing anything more on Wake Up, Girls! It's most likely due to the different contrast and/or art they use. Hell, there's many reasons to why it looks better at 1080. Trust me though, you're not getting 1080 quality.

On a side note, 8 megabits? The amount you need at least is 4, so I have no idea why you're getting lag. Oh, wait, I do...

What I meant is that the movie looks better at 1080p than 720p and the difference is a lot more visible than other shows, probably because the movie was released at native 1080p resolution, instead of upscaled 1080p. For example, this scene looks a lot sharper at 1080p even on my 768p screen (see the difference around the waist of the girls):

720p:

1080p:

Of course, this doesn't count for BDs but I'm talking only about the CR streaming quality, I know the BDs have great quality at 1080p, because they're native 1080p.

About the lag, my provider is not the best and my speed never goes over 820 KByte/s, to stream at 1080p any episode from Crunchyroll, I need to download 23 MByte/min, it shouldn't be a problem even at 800 KByte/s but sometimes there're peaks of low speed and also the CR servers are probably limiting the speed for guest users like me, so it all adds to the lag. That's why only 720p is smooth for me.

480p or 720p depends ~ 480p for mehh is usually good though

if am travelling and using my super limited internet data, then Standard.

If at home, 720p is sufficient. On TV it goes to 1080 automatically...

23 megabytes?? Oh god no....you do NOT need that much for 1080P quality. Go to their FAQ section and check out the speeds required. It clearly says 4 Megabits is needed at the very least for 1080P.

And dude, I'm a premium member with a pretty beefy PC with 30 megabits down. I still get lag/freezes occasionally, so that's why I said I do know why you're getting the problem. CR needs a better flash player and more servers since that's what they said they were doing.
