what do you think is the most destructive natural disaster?

I would say flooding. An estimated 3.7 million people died from drowning, disease and starvation from the Central China Floods. That is an astronomical number to me.

1) Volcanos, they can cause world catastrophic events to take place. 2)Tsunami's 3) Tornados 4) Earthquake 5)Hurricane(Typhoon)

Granted there haven't been any crazy volcano eruptions recently, but I stick by my saying they are the worst. They can change the climate with one explosion, which could have lasting implication on all life on the planet. I mean while not "Destructive", I'm sure some of you recall the volcano in Iceland(?) that put all that ash in the air for like 3 weeks in Western Europe bringing all air traffic to a stand still. The rest of this list can pretty much just all be tied for 2nd in my list, because just in the last 15 years I can remember the damage that Katrina caused, the Tsunami in the Far East(I can't remember the location off the top of my head), the Tornado that took out a huge chunk of Tuscaloosa, the Hurricane that hit Haiti(And Earthquakes around the same time), so I am by no means talking down their destructive capabilities.

Your mum!

Infantile jokes aside I'm going to guess a tsunami given how much land they can cover, and the flooding that comes with them.

I would have to say the direct impact full-fledged meteor. But if, that doesn't count then I would have to say the eruption of a supervolcano.

Whatever hits an area with the worst construction or is least prepared for such an event.

Depends on the magnitude of the disaster, but I would agree with a tsunami.

Earth is a few billion years old, recorded history a few hundred years.. I wonder what the chances are we have even seen and recorded anything close to the worst... I think the large tsunami in what 03-04 claimed the most ive ever heard as far as human casualties..

Humans. We did it. WE DID IT. WE DID IT! YAAAAY.

Any one is destructive to their own degree.
