We all hope for second seasons, and other sequels. We don't know if they will come or not. But if the franchise/anime GETS BIG then we can assume its gonna get one. Some may take long than others though. But one thing that gets me mad is when people want stuff to hurry up and come out. WHY CAN'T YOU JUST GO READ THE SOURCE MATERIAL

For example, I loved to aru majutsu no index/ a certain magical index (still do, it's my favorite light novel series) when I finished seasons 1 and 2 of the anime in 2011 (also saw railgun). I wanted to find out what happens next and went ahead to read the light novels and caught up. I did the same for Shingeki no kyoujin and caught up to the current chapter. Both series I know will get sequels. Also fo a bunch of other light novels and manga.

But then there are series that don't get sequels, like negima. I enjoyed the anime and wanted to know what happens next so I went ahead and read the manga. Negima got even better and thus became my favorite manga series ever
(yes I saw the ovas n movie but I don't see them as sequels)

Sure you may spoil yourself, But then you will be able to enjoy watching the moments you read being animated.

so all of you "why can't (insert anime) second season come sooner!!!!" people, please just go read the manga if you can't wait.

Thanks

I will say Anime is an ADAPTION of a source material if they can not make it stand on its own two feet that is the failure of the makers of it. I should never FEEL like I need another season. It should end well enough that I feel its complete or that its set up for next season. Not to be left hanging forever in limbo.

Not everyone reads manga or light novels. I've only recently got into reading manga myself but I still shy away from reading light novels.

I don't think asking people to read the source material is needed.

I think though people should realize that there may not be a second season until more source material is created.

So people asked for new seasons, but there isnt enough source material to do that yet.

I don't get any enjoyment from reading manga, and only do so when there's absolutely no hope of an anime I love to ever get a second/third/whatever season to finish a series off.

I enjoy Light Novels but they rarely get fan translated, let alone published in English.

And I refuse to play any dating sims.

(That seems to be the biggest three sources for material, so I'll leave it at that).

Understandable...I'm a person that wants to know what happens next and searches for the souce meterial right away to read it. As for dating sims, I have school days, otoboku, and shuffle. Many people may hate school days but I'm enjoying it due to the good endings I'm getting :D
kotonoha good christmas ending >.<

Well ....

First, not everyone likes Manga or Light Novels or VN's which is the primary sources of any Anime adaptation I would say.

Second, Of all the Anime that do get adaptations, their source material is rarely, if EVER published in English. Not counting fan translations but even then... unless you feel like crawling through the pits of the dark side of the internet for a translation... that is a horrible route to take. So unless you can understand any Japanese written works, and can find it on the internet and ship it to your house, you are SoL for finding the source material.

Third, I don't wanna.

Fourth, telling others what to do is kind of a horrible plan/idea anyway. It's like talking to dogs or kids. They can tell you are making noises from your mouth but they really can't tell or care what those noises are.
