Well, I (For the most part) enjoy Nagi-Asu but... rated 8/10 is a bit higher
Nagi-Asu 7/10
For Golden Time... 4/10.
Worst characters (Except 2D-kun, he's awesome), plot and animation. Just... No

Nagi is not PA Works finest anime, that still goes to Angel Beats
Its still a good anime in its own right though.

But Golden Time? More like Golden Crap.

I can't believe this came from the same author as one of my all time favorites Toradora. Or to be fair, its not the light novel series that was bad, I'm sure those were fine, but it was more the anime adaptation that was crap.

I hope the manga continues to be translated. From what I've read so far it does a better job of telling the story than the anime did. It's funny that it wrapped up the same time as WCW, because that was one of the best adaptations I have ever seen. JC Staff is a bit hit or miss like that.

you don't have to say it. we all know that kill la kill swept the house this past season.........

May I ask a question? Is it really? I watched up to the 3rd or 4th episode and I put it on "hold". I haven't gone back to see it, yet. I was planning on it. I can be difficult to keep up with every series, but I try. If it is the season's winner, then i'll marathon the rest of it tonight.

Imo, it's the kind of show that you're really excited about while you're in the middle of it, but afterward you look back and kind of wonder why. It was an enjoyable experience and I don't regret the time it took, but I didn't feel wholly satisfied with it either. I can be super picky though, and some other posters seem to have thoroughly enjoyed it with no reservations.

I mentioned this to someone in another thread a week ago. I'm still stuck on episode 7 of Kill la Kill.

All of my agreement with the bolded.
Just like I said in that other thread about JC Staff, at times I love them, other times I have to shake my head and ask "wtf?"
