She found the girl staring at her, making her break out in a small smile, then blinked as she waited for her to finish her cute laughing fit. Oh, so her name was Camilla. That's a nice name.

"Oh nice to meet you Camilla. I'm Nyx!" With the cool, summery wind blowing her hair to a birdsnest, she followed Camilla to bakery store. She could smell the food, but that's not what they were here for. Eh? Quests, huh. Like Quest Bars... but are Quest bars actually healthy? *Ahem, Nyx, get back to reality please*. Anyways, why were they here? Oh yes, for.... wait, huh? Camilla summoned an adorable, squishy little sea snail, that slowly slid back to reveal a slimy shield. Thrusting it to her, the girl did a quick explanation, then walked off to her NPC for a quest reward. Nyx waved.

"Hey, thank you so much, oh god Camilla, I don't even know what to say. And I would love if we could do like quests together and all. Psh, you can't be any newer than me." She gave a hearty laugh.

Suddenly, she was engulfed in a shimmering column of light, her stats board flashing with a few thick words and a number:
"Congratulations! Level Up! Lvl 2!"

I hope the shield can hold out long. It might disappear quickly before it can be put to good use.

Still feeling a little worried, Camilla entered the back of the store alone. She greeted the NPC who ushered her out immediately, chiding her for trespassing. It seemed there was a secret convention among the bakery NPC family. Does it have something to do with the slandering of the next bakery store?

"My reward, if you please," Camilla shove her hand out forcefully, her face serious.

"Ah right right. Where did I put it?" the NPC looked a little confused. "Here you go. One grand. Now get out!"

Camilla bowed out of habit and left silently. She looked up in the sky. It was dusk to her eyes. She pulled out her system menu and clicked "Message".

"Nyx. I have to leave. It was nice meeting you. Hope you got your kebab. #thankyou #letusmeetagain."

Camilla regretted she had not partied with her new friend earlier. Sighing softy, she shut her head gear down.

"How was it, Missy?" a coarse voice shouted in the distance.

She blinked to adjust her eyes to the surroundings. She was brought back to reality by the shopkeeper. She smiled slightly. "I will be back soon, Mister. Thank you for letting me play for free!"

They joked a little and she returned to the austere residence of Mihos.

Finally able to sell off her kebob with the help of the (lil bit) slimy shield, she felt satisfied. At that moment, a bing went off in her right ear, signalling a... message? Nyx wasn't sure. Another thing she wasn't sure of, was the time. It was such a beautiful game, so fascinating, even tho she hasn't exactly started any quests or such yet. Maybe she should start one now? After she checks her interface, that's for sure.

Nyx opened up her profile, following the arrow going into her mailbox, there she found a message from Camilla, thanking her and giving Nyx her best wishes. Oh how sweet, she messaged back.

"Yes, thank you so much! Definitely. I was able to sold off the kebob, thanks to you. But yesh. #iwillfindyou #yesi'mastalker #justjoking. Hope to see you soon."

And she sent it. With a happy heart, she walked off to the nearest NPC looking for her first quest.

Misha rushed through her nightly duties. Duties, more like daily routine. Everyone eats dinner, everyone showers, everyone finished their homework before they game -- Well, not so much of the last one but you get my picture. By the time she finished, a little more than two hours had past.

Seeing how she still had some time left before she had to call it a night, the girl busied herself with her recent addiction. "System Activate." She called out. This time when she opened her eyes, she saw the starter town once more. From there, she had ran into a beginner named Syn, taught him the basics and headed off towards the forest field with him.

"Oh dear," Calliope thought, tossing Syn an red exilir. "You're going to need that," She says, standing on the sidelines to avoid the fight. There was an amused grin on her face, seeing how she had fell victim to the Lvl 1. Jellies. The foxes, on the other hand, were Lvl 2. The small fox strikes, leaping forward and dealing a heavy slash on Syn's right arm. That itself, must've hurted especially since Syn was only a beginner.

"You better attack it quick or you'd return to town!"

Confused, he caught the elixir wondering what he was going to need this for, since he thought the fox was perfectly harmless. However, out of nowhere the fox had pounced towards him as he held up his one arm to block, thought that really didn't help as much as he sudden'y felt a throbbing pain, and quickly threw the fox off his arm. Worried he checked up on his arm as he saw a hefty amount of blood was oozing out. He then took a few good more seconds to stare at his arm not believing what he was seeing and had a panic attack on the inside of his head, and tried to somehow stop the bleeding. He then looked at his " teacher " for help as she was urging him to attack or he'll go back to town and thought * I kind of like the thought of going back to town * ;^;

Calliope crossed her arms and rose a brow. "Drink the potion!" She answers, shooting a paralyzing skill at the fox. It took down half of it's HP which should make things easier for Syn. "You can do this. Come on," Calliope urged. She knew that the guy won't fully be able to enjoy the game without the adrenaline from battling.

Following her orders exactly without questioning, he popped open the bottle he was given and put the substance in his mouth, drinking it all in one shot, since he found the taste to be actually quite delicious. He then felt the pain from his arm soothe and looked at it seeing, fascinated by the fact that the wound had already close. He then looked at the fox with a new mindset being cautious seeing that it was more dangerous than he had originally thought. He then found the will to draw out his weapon, his short sword and then re-positioned himself to be ready to attack since he had a feeling that if being hurt was painful, dying won't be a pretty thing. He locked his eyes on his target and rushed towards it when Cal shot it and positioned his sword behind him and when he was close enough, he swung his sword at the fox's head.

What Misha found great about the game Atelia was the fact that it saved people from witnessing gore. The second the blade had hit a critical attack towards a vital part of the monster, the fox's body turned into pure light before shattering and dissolving into the air like hologram-ed crystals.

Although Calliope had hardly anything to do with the fight, she was just as excited and did jump in the air, shouting out "You did it!". Her cheeks were flushed pink in glee and she was quite proud of her "pupil".

"So? Soooo, how was it? Did you have fun?" Calliope asked, with a grin on her face. She remembered the rush of adrenaline followed by the satisfaction of gaining a kill. She wondered if Syn felt the same way.

"..." after the fox had dissolved into light particles he became surprised as Cal was bombarding him with his thoughts of his first kill. He slightly became confused as to why his shoulder didn't hurt as he went into his nonchalant self for a second and stretched his shoulder a couple of times and remembered that he was in a game so of course he wouldn't feel anything that was real. After thinking about the kill a couple of more times he really couldn't remember anything as it all happened too fast for him to exactly explain in words, but overall he didn't feel anything special, he felt the same, though if all the monsters were cute he might just stop playing. Seeing the look on his master's accomplished face made him want to lie and say it was fun, but when he opened his mouth to answer, he thought if he actually said yes she would take him on for more hunts and kill, and he didn't want to disappoint her so he ended up telling her something half the truth

" I'm not sure? " which sounded more like a question, and went on " I can't really explain it "

Calliope would be lying if she said she wasn't disappointed at the lack of enthusiasm. She was not narrow minded however and decided to let it pass. It was a small matter anyways. His answer however, had oddly reminded the girl of her Willow's sister, Lotty, who had negative feedback on the game. She didn't want to kill any of the monsters, the girl had said, due to the fact that the game felt too real for the feeling of artificalness to set in.

Being a dedicated gamer, Calliope did not understand it. Even with the digital reality, it was nothing all but a game for Calliope. "I see," She says, with a peculiar look on her face. It was almost as if she was examining a mole or non existing pimple on Akira's face. "Are you alright by the way? The fox got you pretty good a while ago," There was concern in her ruby eyes.

Syn blinked not expecting the girl to be worried about his injury, since she already seemed like an experienced player he thought she knew was used to it and knew that the pain was only there for awhile and he had already drank the potion. He answered her in a casual manner stretching both arms behind his neck showing that he was alright " Never better, it did hurt for awhile but the pain just subsided after awhile, and since I drank the thing you gave me it's as good as new. " Thinking it was strange he prompted " Why do you ask? "

Calliope sighed in relief, her hands clasped together behind her back. She knew it was a bit hard to adjust for beginners - at least, it was for her and her other friends. She stated her opinion aloud. "Oh, it's just new for some players so they aren't too used to it. Even I found it difficult to adjust to." The fear of getting fatally injured scared her when she had accidentally entered a high level zone. It was only after she had been teleported back to the village was she reminded that everything was just a game.

"And well... usually by now they would've given up you see?" The girl walked deeper into the forest. Her conversation was luring the man in with her.

" Is that so? " Syn said ruffling the back of his hair out of habit. " Never would've thought of it since you seem so tough. ..But I guess It's not unusual, you're a girl after all " Following her, just in case there would be more monsters out there to attack him, and started to take an interest in her, and asked " So why didn't you give up then? If it hurt so much? "

Berated, tortured and dirty, the young priestess slumped as she headed for the bath. Her head was spinning from a bad day at work. It was an endless cycle of chores and reading. She filled the small wooden tub with warm water and soaked in after a quick shower. Nightfall was near and the temple has retreated to the shadows. I want to escape...

She jumped out of the bathroom hurriedly and tiptoed across the corridors, sneaking into the driveway. Her Elder was puzzled by the sudden stillness in her protege's room but did not pressed on. It had been a long day for all of them.

As the stars blinked in the night sky, the young girl was hiding at a corner in the game store, jamming the head gear on her neck. She reopened her eyes as Camilla the Shaman.

Yawning, she looked around the almost empty streets of the virtual Town. Where is everyone? She send a message to all her friends from her last gameplay.

Calliope stared dumbstruck as if Syn had just asked a miser to shovel his fortune into a furnace. "What's the point in gaming or doing anything if I'm just going to give up when it stings a little?" Calliope asks with a giggle in her voice. The male was funny to ask such a question. Her love for games kept her gaming in a sense where she actually wanted to get stronger and better at it.

Before she could say anything else, a whispered message popped up in the right hand corner of her transparent screen. "Oh! Camilla! Welcome back! I don't know about everyone else but I'm in the Canan Forest with a friend," Calliope replied, sending the PM through mental thoughts in game. She was surprised to see the shaman on.
