They make really bad anime.. Apart from Honey and Clover, everything by them is pretty much a disaster.. They ruined Hayate no Gotokus anime adaptation which happens to be one of my favorite mangas

Didn't know they did Hayate no Gotoku. I'll admit the manga is much better.

I think some other things they did though were very good...

J.C. Staff only did season 2 of Hayate no Gotoku. The other seasons were handled by different studios.

JC Staff gets a lot of flak, sometimes for good reason, sometimes not. Pretty much it comes down to this:

JC Staff is the Plain Cornflakes of anime production. They're a Production Mill with multiple studios able to handle a fairly high volume, with adequate quality. (Although even that depends on the budget given.) But the majority of the time they lack ... Heart? They aren't known for any particular directors or staff, they don't have any sort of distinctive style, they never do any anime original series AFAIK, etc.

I would say their one somewhat silver-lining is the staff that work on their SoL/romcom shows. AKA: Toradora, Sakurasou, Henneko, Witchcraft Works, etc. Those are the only time I felt like the staff were actually enjoying themselves and putting in extra stuff that felt "labor of love" related.

At the same time, they aren't a shovelware adaptation studio either, like Xebec, David Production, etc. who do tons of contract work for crappy shows. (Although even there, XEBEC always pulls out their one big-budget space/mecha show every few years, and David has done stuff like Jojo's now and Ben-To that were actually enjoyable)

Everyone from J.C. Staff people got autism and their writing is mediocre but they are more talented than shitty A-1 pictures.

Okay, you've rather annoyed me with your statement there... If you're trying to use "autism" as an insult, you've only succeeded in pissing off people with autism, like me. A good number of autistic people are extremely creative, talented, and otherwise gifted, including some rather famous musicians, artists, authors, mathematicians, scientists... I could go on. Others do have some social issues but that doesn't make them any less of a human being than you are. I suggest you use a different, more suitable word, unless you were meaning to give them a compliment, in which case, I'd say that I don't think any studio would be that lucky to get that much talent in the same place.

To answer the original question, I've apparently yet to see any work by this studio. However, shows like Golden Time, Azumanga Daioh, and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! are on my list, and have received a notable amount of praise from my friends in real life and on Tumblr. I had also planned to watch Selector infected WIXOSS, but with that show only being available through Funimation in the US, I probably won't be simulcasting it. :/

EDIT: Actually, I have apparently watched one OVA produced by them in 2003, Eiken, to see why people say it was so bad... lol. Overall, the animation and such didn't seem terrible, although it wasn't really outstanding in any way either... my issue was the content and plot, seeing as it was basically the epitome of fanservice. Having realized this was the company to do that OVA, I wonder how those shows on my list will be like...
