Getting darker you say? I think it was just being realistic; I mean, in that situation it would be weird if no one got hurt or died.

First off, I'm guessing you've never read Edgar Allen Poe, or Stephen King. Yeah, Poe is dead, but not by suicide and he did live in the 1800's, and King is still very much alive. Your argument is paper thin at best, and at worst you're just a troll. But, let's just assume you're not a troll.

Just because a story gets darker and edger doesn't mean squat. That has nothing to do with anything the writer may or may not be going through in his/her life. Sometimes people just want to tell a dark story like Neil Gaiman. Characters are like a writer's kids??? Um... NO. Many writers kill off characters for a whole host of reasons. Sometimes it's for nothing more than mere shock value, other times characters need to die in order to advance the plot. Not trying to put myself on the same level as a professional writer but I've dabbled in fanfiction before and some characters I created were condemned to death before I even wrote the first word of the story.

And, ok so the manga is ending soon, but you know what I'm sure he's seen it coming for a while now. Also, did you even consider the fact that maybe it's coming to and end because he's finished telling the story he wanted to tell? When Neil Gaiman announced the end of "The Sandman" comic book it was at the height of it's popularity, and yes fans, and the industry were kinda shocked by the announcement but Mr. Gaiman was ending the series because he was finished telling the story he wanted to tell.

The long and short of it is you're jumping to conclusions with no facts to support them. All you have is mere speculation, and you're forcing your speculation to fit a theory that you created.

This is really sad I really love TWGOK and I tried going on his blog and twitter, been learning a bit Japanese, but I can't really understand much though there're some posts which does seem kind "depressing".

I hope he gets better and stand back up in life, we should show him that there're people supporting him even from the other side of the world D:!

EDIT: I just tweeted him in English...

Anyway...

Google translation: "Naa's a strange feeling something. It's that abideth people who are seen in the United States. Comics is not out in English, even though it doing animation."

Try not to tell (or suggest) that you are reading the manga as there is no official English release (there is German and Italian though). It will have opposite effect to "support"

Telling that you watched the anime on Crunchyroll or that you bought some of official merchandise (added to any encouragement or
appreciation) will be surely welcome. Adding that you read in the news that the series is going to wrap up so you wish him good luck and you wish like to see a new season or at least get manga released in your country would be nice too.

Firm believer of support for Japan and their artists...

I just wish I didn't spend over double the amount for shipping of the products than the actual costs of the manga were lol

Nice collection, also shout out to Jesus Christ in the background.
I'd like to support the author, but I don't know Japanese to buy the manga since it's not licensed in the States. I'm planning to buy the blu-rays of the first two seasons.

Wow, amazing collection, I'm jealous. Buying original manga even if you don't know the language, beacuse you want to support the author is admirable.
According Kami Nomi I have first two seasons DVDs, Shiori and Ayumi figures and 3 music CD's. True, shipping cost are pretty high themselves If manga won't be released in English or Polish I plan to buy the original volumes too (maybe I will learn Japanese some day...).

Yes, there is unofficial English translation. Cannot post any links due to site rules.

Manga is officialy released in Japanese, German, Italian and and it seems that two volumes were released in Korea (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World_God_Only_Knows).

It's pity that there is no official English release.

Suicide is a little extreme based off of events in a manga. You would think a lot of writers are going to commit suicide based off of the stories they create.
