So, what's the deal with the licencing agreement this time around? Is it going to be the same like last time where they only have it up for a specific number of days or is it here to stay?

It is here to stay. Any limitation would have been mentioned in the announcement, as it was when the first series was announced as a simulcast.

They would have mentioned it in the announcement, that's what they did with The Irregular at Magic High School, which is only available 21 days after the air date. So I would assume that it's here to stay

It was premium only last time but now it is the usual setup where free users get it a week later. Looks like no disappearing episodes this time.

Too bad there is still a hole in Funimations back catalog right now. A big 40 episode hole but I'm sure they'll fill it in.

I've moved this to Site Support / Minor Questions. I believe that if there were going to a similar agreement this time, it would have been mentioned in the Site News announcement, which it wasn't.

The 21 day limitation for that series only applies to the countries denoted with an asterisk.

BTW, Daisuki annnounced two hours ago they are also getting the series (no surprise, given it is an Aniplex series, although Aniplex had already confirmed yesterday that both Daisuki and CR would be streaming both it and Mekakucity Actors). Their regions are only US, Canada, Central America, South America, and South Africa.

I know...I'm unable to get caught up because of that nonsense.

According to their schedule, they are filling that hole at a rate of 2 episodes per week, posted each Tuesday.

Two episodes per week? What a shame...And I don't want to go over to Hulu because of the ads...oh how I'm stuck in a pickle.
