Sources say that the Playstation Now streaming service will launch with "hundreds of games" this summer.
Playstation showed Uncharted 3 and a Ratchet and Clank game on both the Ps3 and vita. No official price strategy has been revealed yet but it sounds like $5-$6 USD will be the cost for renting a title.

Are any of you guys/girls looking forward to this service?

Still on the fence with it all. It seems like a good idea and faster than waiting on services like Gamefly. Pretty sure it will all be detailed at this years E3 according to the rumor leaks.

@Ze_Fever: Not really, I mean the theory sounds good but in practice the whole service has too many technical issues to work fine (we all know how OnLive did with a similar service). Still, not totally dismissing it just yet.

I will say that hands down I prefer standard BC to PS Now, though having options is never bad.

Yea i'm not totally convinced on this service either. I personally don't like the idea of streaming games. The internet at my house drops occasionally (house is over 120 years old so it has really thick walls) so i fear that i would lose progress every now and then when it cuts out. I would have to save constantly.

I really don't think ill be using this service. I have a BC PS3 and work at a retro and current video game store so if there is an older title i like i will just borrow it from work. So currently i have no use for the service..

I want to ask the opinion of the members here about play asia.
Is it trust worthy ?
I am planning on buying some Singaporean PSN cards and a few games from there because i had an account with address in singapore. In a few years, i will be back in my own country which is a lot closer to Singapore so it will be my main account and i would love to have some games that are on in SG region but not in US now. Plus i can read chinese so chinese games from there is just bonus for me.

Snap! Wish i would have seen this sooner.

If you are still on the fence about play-asia, i can verify its credentials. I have purchased a bunch of stuff from that place. The only downside is long shipping times. The best time reference i can give you is I ordered Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd from there on April 26th and I did not get it until about May 19th. But i feel that will be the standard that you will see from shipping things from Japan without opting to pay 30+ dollars for an upgrade in shipping.

As for ordering PSN cards it is loads better. I ordered a couple USA network cards while i lived in England and it was super quick. You pay for it and they email you the code. I would say the longest time it took me to get my code was 10 mins. It may have even been faster than that.

Either way, I'm sure experiences can differ from person to person. I am just saying that i have yet to have a bad experience with the site.

*EDIT* It looks like the pricing for upgrading to expedited shipping has dropped on on play-asia as well. Only 13 bucks to get it now.. thats not shabby at all.

Ah thanks for tips. Yea I gave it a try and it is pretty reliable with it comes to Digital. As for physical shipping, I hadn't ordered any yet, since i usually just prefer to buy it in NA retail stores or from Amazon.

Will recommend Play Asia to others if they ever need to buy foreign PSN cards.
