Nothing, though they serve as an emergency pocket for when it's too inconvenient to put them in the pockets of my pants when I'm not wearing a jacket. I put tiny things in them, like nuts, bolts, and screw-driver tips that I'm about to use or hand to someone. Itty-bitty notes, too. My pants have deep pockets, to it's nice to have a more accessible option for small objects. I find that I'm less likely to lose said objects when I put them there, too.

Nuts, and bolts, and screw driver tips? Are you a mechanic of sorts? XD

my #1 issue had been putting my sell phone in my shirt pocket, and when i lean over it falls out =/ Quite inconvenient..

I actually find it a bit awkward trying to reach into a shirt pocket for smaller things. My left pants pocket is reserved for smaller items and papers. Not to mention the very few times I have put stuff in my shirt pocket it tends to fall out a lot because of how much I move around.

USB Drive, Pen, Pencil, Sharpie, a quarter, headphones... My left shirt pocket is always full. It's like my quick inventory pocket.

I was briefly an electrician, actually, and my stepdad being one meant that my siblings and I picked up some knowledge. Now, however, it's dealing with the renovations of my home.

I can't stand things being put in certain pockets so having designated pockets is a must.

Right front pocket = key, chap stick, receipts.
Smaller right front pocket = Hellsing zippo
Left front pocket = non-receipt papers, small items, misc.
Right back pocket = wallet
Right leg pocket = 3ds
Inside hoodie pocket = cell phone.

All other items may only reside in a pocket for a limited time and the pocket chosen based on how accessible said item must be during that time.
