I really don't understand why CR doesn't have licensing to the TV Edition for the US when they already have licensing for the original 6 movies on their anime database? I really looked forward to watching this new reboot on Crunchyroll, but I'm completely angry at the fact that it won't be on Crunchyroll in my region. Guess I have to move onto a free anime site for this version of Broken Blade in particular.

International licensing can be weird. It may have already been licensed by another company for English-language streaming, or was not made available for other reasons.

The most likely reason is that they can't license the TV edition for English speaking countries because the series (movies) has already been licensed by Sentai (and is streaming here).

The TV edition isn't going to have many new scenes, I'd estimate 5-10 minutes of new content max.

That makes sense, but I wouldn't really see a problem if they were to license it once again though. As for the TV edition, I wouldn't really mind rewatching it with the new content. Broken Blade is a great series that I have been meaning to rewatch even before they have announced the reboot.
