Like the title say which anime is that you start to hate it, because you don't like the community. For example if you are SAO or AoT fan you may be proud of you self, because of it's array of artistic creative community.

In opposite side which anime community make you regret watching the show?

None that I know of yet think it is amazing when someone likes a show so much. Puts a smile on my face when you can see someone is truly excited about something.

I don't think I've ever come to hate something I liked because of other fans of that thing. People hating something I like who were either never part of the fandom or who dropped out of it have dampened a few shows for me, though.

But I'm not exactly innocent of that behavior either, so... karma.

I like Shingeki no Kyojin. I already know that majority of the fandom are immature, obnoxious, elitist, annoying, and psychotic but I still enjoy the series. Luckily there are the sane ones that give me hope.

Every fanbase has something annoying about them, but there is one that stands out by far.

One piece

Unlike the Naruto fanbase, The One piece fanbase can actually stand up for themselves and explain why One piece is the best anime ever created. They are surprisingly friendly towards people that dislike the show, so they'l even give you a free essay on why you should like it. They'l point out every quality it has, that other anime lack, until you go watch it. They'l even acknowledge your favorite anime, so you're more likely to go watch it. Unless they convinced you to watch or like it, they stop at nothing.

The way they express themselves is also often pretty clever and manipulative. When they talk about why One piece is better than other anime, they actually seems pretty logical and reasonable, but if you read between the lines, you'l notice how much they are secretly trash talking other anime to promote One piece.

Let's see... *puts on armor and readies shield*

1. Pokemon (since 1996 I've shaken my head in disbelief)

2. Naruto (I fail to understand how popular it is because the entire concept of it mystifies me beyond all reasonable belief)

3. Trigun (I seriously thought it was "okay" at best; but at the time of its premier it was hailed as better than sex)

4. NGE (the fact that you have to watch it in a certain order to get "it", makes it that much more facepalm-worthy--like the Star Wars movies)

5. AoT (the fanbase is split between the loyalists (manga readers) and the fanatics (anime-only), and of course, the fanatics speak louder than the loyalists)

6. Gintama (the fanbase makes the show seem like it should win an Academy Award or Oscar, but I stopped watching after episode 10 because I kept yawning and falling asleep mid-episode)

7. Cowboy Bebop (the fanbase thinks the show should be screened in the Louvre because it's just that "good", though I could barely stomach through the entire show and not hate characters who weren't named Vicious).

8. Dragon Ball Z (Ultra Super Saiyajin 4 God Goku vs. the World vs. the Universe vs. Super Saiyajin 4 Majin Vegita vs. Super Saiyajin 3 Gotenks vs. Superman vs. Batman vs. Spiderman vs....---fanbase)

That's all I've got, for now....

You're going to need armor and shields thicker than Ichigo's (Bleach) plot armor to defend some of those xD

I don't really have too many problems with fan bases but some of them really get on my nerves when people can't accept something being mediocre. Most recently Chuunibyou Season 2, there are people out there who will defend it and say it was still very good despite being a train wreck. SAO is an obvious one that I really don't even need to explain why the fanbase can be so rabid. Also recently Attack on Titan; it was good, I didn't find it amazing so seeing people half of the time treat it like it is one of the best animes ever created which I don't agree with can be a little annoying.

God DAMN those series that expect you to watch them in chronological order. GOD DAMN THEM ALL TO HELL!

So what do you think of the Haruhi fanbase.

I would have mentioned SAO, but from what I've seen, it's kept in check by the Accel World fanbase because of the obvious link between the two. Since the AW fans tend to be much more moderate, they create a buffer against the SAO fanatics who constantly shout "Kirito 4 lyfe! Kirito and Asuna are bigger than the Titantic!" which mutes a lot of that.

That's why I didn't bring it up; but everything else stills stands.

I like how this thread promotes hating on people for liking stuff, instead of hating the stuff itself.

I think it's really healthy and a great way to bring people together.

I also like how it encourages generalizing huge groups of people and hating on them, as well.

None? Because everyone has there own dislike and likes so I'm trying to be someone else who likes everything even if it's different.

School Days & Boku no Pico

Those are probably very known for being portrayed as being "bad" in the community, but I rarely follow the community's feedback, I do my research and develop my opinion before I start criticizing a show.

None. I could care less what the community likes or dislikes. I like what I like.

This. I tend to avoid community discussions about pros-n-cons of anything, whether it is anime, music, food. Besides, I'm fairly anti-social, and if you don't agree with me, then you're wrong.
