I think some people look attractive with glasses.

But I don't like glasses, I usually wear contact lenses. I only wear glasses when I'm studying or lazy.

Personally i'm alright with people wearing them just for fashion, it's their choice. I have had people thought that my glasses were just for fashion because of how they look. But I am completely blind without them so that isn't the case.

I wear glasses for vision correction... kinda wish I didn't have to

Most people think I'm trying to be Harry Potter... (which is fine since I like the series).

But my style of specs is more inspired by Gintoki-sensei. most people in Sydney have no idea what a gintoki is. They know what a Naruto is...

Me: "Have you heard of Naruto?"
Stranger: "Yeah my sister watches that kiddie show"

For me, it's one of those things where I don't mind if other people do it, but I'd feel silly doing it myself. I understand the appeal though.

I wear glasses myself, but I only really need them at night, at which point my eyes' ability to focus becomes crap. >_>

I'm near sighted. I only use it mostly for driving purposes.

I don't wear glasses playing sports. It's a hassle.

Just as bad as people wearing sunglasses indoors to look "cool".

I don't like nose piece on my glasses.
It creates a mark on the nose and it pricks.

That's why my new glasses are all frames and lenses.

Nah. I'm a non-tattooed tactician.

I wear glasses because I'm blind as a bat (or worse) without them. I only see colours and, sometimes, shapes - without them on. Though, I've been thinking about switching to contacts again lately... my problem was that I had simply become too adjusted to wearing glasses (been wearing them for the past 20 years now.. 29 now). So... to remove them makes my face feel a bit "naked".

I don't care what other people want to do. I wear glasses because I like to be able to actually tell who I am looking at from any kind of distance and read things that aren't necessarily within 10 feet in front of me.

This has also reminded me that I need to go get a new prescription some time soon though now that I have insurance that will cover it. 10+ years of the same pair of glasses and prescription don't work too well.

Some people look nice with glasses, even if they don't need them.

I need my glasses for distances, but I don't care if other people wear them just for looks. Who am I to judge?

Between the glasses trend and the walking into lampposts trend, the former eventually gained preference D:
