Considering what "Akuma" is usually translated to...

Akuma no Riddle is via Kadokawa, and the only two shared Kadokawa licenses have had with Funimation were for sequels to series CR had first and Funimation later licensed (and the last time that happened, Funimation alone got the simulcast).

The odds aren't good, especially given that it isn't a high profile title like Attack on Titan or Fairy Tail. The only "normal" anime in recent times that has gotten a shared license was Nobunagun, which CR lists as licensed from YTV, while Funimation unusually doesn't show a logo for the licensing company on the show page.

AFAIK, this is the first time Netflix has licensed an anime directly. Their normal anime licensing has been from the holder of the video license in a specific country (i.e., Funimation, Sentai, Aniplex USA, etc. for the US).

It will be interesting to see if Netflix is listed as a production partner for the series, or if this was a pure licensing deal.

While Sentai doesn't seem to license to Netflix at present, and Funimation is dominant, Aniplex USA has been making inroads as of late (with SAO and Madoka Magica), and we've seen the occasional other title (like the first Squid Girl series).

Chances are, since YTV holds the international rights for international sales, that's where FUNi got it from as well.

Chaika –The Coffin Princess- will be available to Crunchyroll members in the following territories: U.S.A, Canada, Latin America (Central and South America including Caribbean), Europe (excluding German speaking territories), the Arab League, and the Middle East.

Just asking, but is it normal that I get a region-restriction here or is my country also part of the exclusion?
The flag at the bottom tells me I'm properly detected though.
