Dynasty Warriors wasnt tanky at all in my opinion. Lock on feature helped a ton. Plus you gotta learn that parry system. Lu Bu will roll you anyways unless you are a veteran player xD

Ps2?
Kingdom Hearts is one of my all time favorite. 1 and 2.

Drakengard 1 and 2 are for ps2.

My all time favorite JRPG (Unique) game was: Legaia 2: Duel Saga The game play is amazing and the skill tree and combos are just legendary fun! Crafting weapons is alot of fun too, has a wide verity that makes it more fun through out the game. Has a great story too. A story that you don't necessarily need to play number one for to understand. Besides 1 and 2 are like 10 years apart in making as well as different Station platforms. Highly recommend this one.

Also if your not a fan already, you should really try getting into Tales of Series games. One of the longest Game series that has been around since the mid 90's and is still popular today and will continue to be with their 2 new, already announced, games in the line up for this years and 2015. LONG LIVE TALES OF SERIES!

Tales of Symphonia - Is a Must Play.
Tales of Legendia - To me was a side-game. None the less still fun.
Tales of the Abyss - Is a Must Play.

My suggestions in that exact order. Games are fairly cheap, since they are for the PS2, Symphonia just got adapted for the PS3, i wouldn't be surprised if it was the cheapest one right now.

(IMPORTANT:) Abyss and Symphonia also have their own Anime Adaption. In my opinion it always good to have more of what you love with something else you also love. Imagine Jesus (PS2) and Shiva (Hindu Deity (Anime)) having a baby... Wouldn't you like to see that?

Thanks, I'll look around for those games; they seem pretty worth while. And I would love to see JesusXShiva along with the fan fiction that follows.

I just ordered Kingdom Hearts on amazon. I decided to go with that since I have friends that have played it so I already had intentions of playing it at some point (I can also have them help me if I get stuck). I also picked up Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga.

I see. If you end up enjoying Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga. You should also check out .Hack//G.U. Series. It's a lot like it. There are a total of 3; (Rebirth = 1) (Reminisce = 2) (Redemption = 3) Action Role Playing Genre. All for the PS2.

The main character name is Haseo, hes a legendary player on an online MMO known as "Shinigami" or Reaper, also as the PKK'er (Player Killer Killer) In other words he kills people who kill other people. As revenge. Haseo gets stuck in the virtual world, and if you die here, you end up in a coma in the real world. Well Haseo's friend ends up being Pk'ed, thus how you become a famous legend known as The PKK'er.

So the whole time your playing this game your inside an online virtual world. You gain new powers as you go. And the story is tremendously appealing and with plot twists that will grind your spine. Haseo is an all around badass btw.

You can also Load your Complete Game Saves from the previous game, and continue with the story as you beat the next game. As a reward for doing so you also get bonus features. Hours of continuous, unending fun.
