Always such childish opinions or constant posts by a person looked up to that is usually half my age.

It appears the oldest person that posted was 64, and I saw at least three that were 60+.

I thought it was you bro. "LAWL"

I consider the elderly to be in the 70-100 ranges myself.

If by "3d", you mean CGI, I expect that isn't far from the truth.

I think people that hate CGI with a passion are going to be in for a rough ride in the future. It is already normal procedure in most anime for mechanical elements (i.e, buildings, vehicles, mecha), and we've seen anime that are CGI without trying for a photorealistic appearance (e.g., Arpeggio of Blue Steel, Knights of Sidonia).

The good news is that the typical CGI of even 30 years from now, much less 60, will look better than the CGI of today, just as the typical animation of the 2000's looked better than the animation of the 70's.

I like how the CGI slow bus rounding a curve has almost become a standard trope in anime.

I hope by the time I'm 60 I'm not nearly as illiterate as the OP.

While I personally haven't tried it, I have some friends who tell me the Occulus Rift is quite the experience.

Occulus Rift is Insanity in a goggles- however a lot of people who were kick starting that sweet gadget have been sorely disappointed when facebook bought them for 2 billion dollars... i can't blame them for selling out, because 2 billion dollars.

I'm 40, I have no plans on giving up anime. I've watched cartoons most of my life, they were a big part of my childhood. Anime is often better than most American tv (opinion here).

I think your estimate is a bit low. Current anime (1920x1080, 1080p) has about 2 million pixels. 4k will have 8 million. If we haven't moved further beyond that than 10 million in 60 years, I will be extremely surprised (if I am still alive).
