if you would like to know how over 40+ years anime has changed .
it might give you a decent look iinto the future of anime without guessing outlandishly or not- guessing outlandishly .
anyway maybe some of you could not even tolerate watching the originals .

I'm still a kid when it comes to watching Anime. I've only been watching for 20+ years. I'll still be a kid when that number of years double. I've never grown up. I've just gotten better that's all.

I am glad that you still enjoy Anime. A person is never too old for Anime. You probably have seen just about everything by now. Which is great. I am trying to do the same. I am almost there. I can understand your remark about communicating at times. Kids tend to view us as the odd ones, but not realizing at some point they will arrive to where we are currently at. Stay young at heart and enjoy. Watch all the shows you can. Good Luck, God Bless.

It's cool seeing that people of all ages can enjoy anime. Anime has some great stories, and there's no reason why it can't be enjoyed by all these various people.

Always such childish opinions or constant posts by a person looked up to that is usually half my age.

You'll probably be interested in this thread in the Premium Members section:

It appears the oldest person that posted was 64, and I saw at least three that were 60+.

As he said. So simmer down, or you'll get no apple sauce today!

If by "3d", you mean CGI, I expect that isn't far from the truth.

I think people that hate CGI with a passion are going to be in for a rough ride in the future. It is already normal procedure in most anime for mechanical elements (i.e, buildings, vehicles, mecha), and we've seen anime that are CGI without trying for a photorealistic appearance (e.g., Arpeggio of Blue Steel, Knights of Sidonia).

The good news is that the typical CGI of even 30 years from now, much less 60, will look better than the CGI of today, just as the typical animation of the 2000's looked better than the animation of the 70's.

there is a big difference of anime quality in late 90's and early 2000s as well compared to today. That could also be accounted to the change from SD to HD though.

and your age is ?

I take it you don't realize the profile (at the left of each message) lists a person's age if they have entered their birthdate (along with their sex and location, if they have chosen to enter that info).

I hope by the time I'm 60 I'm not nearly as illiterate as the OP.

to bad your illiterate self is already showing thus you have no hope .

No, sir, you have it wrong.

I still have hope at my age. You do not.

Have a great last 10% of your life. I hope it's more rewarding than I believe what you deserve with your kind of attitude at your age.
