Never thought I'd go to Japan.

Never thought I'd stand on the deck of a floating runway with jets taking off on either side of me.

Never thought I'd become partially disabled.

Never thought some aspects of the world would become more screwed up than the were.

I'll come back to this thread in a couple years. Because I honestly never thought about getting older when I was younger, nor did I care. (I'm almost 17.)

I guess one thing I thought I'd do as I started realizing my socially awkwardness, was become more adept in my social skills. Boy, was I dead wrong. I suppose it's the challenging fun of social anxiety. I don't view it as a bad thing; I quickly get over embarrassing moments, and I realize people really don't care what I say or do.

Well, I never thought I would get into anime...

But, I mostly never thought I would turn into a tomboy. After some harsh experiences I was pushed away from girls society and moved to hang out with boys. I changed my appearance and values to cherish friendship over how much make-up you can slap on your face, and to be honest this is the happiest I've ever been.

Buy a minivan.....

I got two of them, each of them died quickly and horribly,,,,,

What was the appeal?

Not really any appeal....

The first one was cheap.... $400 Head gasket blew and there was some other things wrong.... Didn't feel like blowing $1600 to fix it...

The second one was out of desperation... Needed something to haul around my folks and my aunt for a little while... they were all 85 or older at the time.... My aunt moved back to North Dakota and I noticed some other dumb things going on with the motor.... figured to trade it off and make it someone else's headache... That's what I did... Never buy a Dodge Caravan with a 3L engine... is the lesson learned. They both went pretty fast but they had issues....

I never thought I would kill a person. Someone ran a red light hit my car and flew out their window cause they weren't wearing a seat belt, it was a surreal experience. The sound was horrible when he finally hit pavement I can still hear the bump and crack it made as his body bounced off the pavement like a rag-doll.

Wake up
Make breakfast
Shower
Dinner?
Social stuff?
Did I remember my last bag of snacks.
Did I really bring myself to see people without my phone outlet to stare into when I'm checking the time because I wanna come home to do my own stuffs.
Pretty much never ready for lots o stuff
I think everything I do is something I never thought I would be doing.
Jumping off buildings, making lists of who or what not to come into my tree house.
Like in fight club
My friends coming up to the steps trying to get into my mind but my paper and pencil scream NO but yes come on in don't forget your things.

My dad used to drive this old and messed up Suzuki mini van when I was a lot younger and he had a Harley bike on the side that he hardly used LOL. In the end I think he sold both before we moved country. Not sure who would want the mini van thou

I told a couple of my friends to "kill me" if I ever bought a minivan.....

I also told one of my buddies to "kill me" if I ever bought a "rice-burner"....Japanese motorcycle... This was back in the '70s and in the Midwest, we were a little 'backwards."
My first motorcycle was a Yamaha... 550 Maxim... Great bike, put 25,000 miles on it the first two years I had it... I used to like Harleys a lot but now days they're just too spendy... I found as I got older I liked the sport bikes better. Riding a GSXR1100R or a big Ninja is almost like flying.

LOL yeah, I find that the sports bikes and cars are usually targeting a much older target market. I'm guessing you have more time to spend a lot more for yourself now?

When I was a little girl, I thought I'd become a beautiful suntanned beauty who got a full ride scholarship to college and was impossibly cool.

But alas, I'm just a pasty person with bad skin sitting at my computer at five in the morning, having accomplished barely anything all day, and sits around draped in a blanket. I don't even own a swimsuit, never mind beach beauty.
I think 11 year old me would be as embarrassed and ashamed of me as I am of her.
