I meant normal figures that you see released from time to time in the $100-200 price range (Ex. http://www.amazon.com/Megahouse-Queens-Blade-Rebellion-Figure/dp/B00IDAWILS/ref=sr_1_38?ie=UTF8&qid=1397115700&sr=8-38), but it was only meant to be one example. The figure really could be worth that, but my point was that it is a price I am not willing to pay.

No, not everything is worth the asking price, but even if an item is worth less than the asking price, there is nothing wrong with asking for that price. Do I think it is fair for a company to choose a price for a game? Yes, I do. I think it is entirely fair to ask whatever price you want for anything. If I wrote my signature on a piece of notebook paper and placed it on Ebay for $10k, I wouldn't be doing anything wrong. As long as I made the contents of the offer clear, asking any price is fair. A consumer can then choose not to buy the item, which is also completely fair. I don't think anyone but a seller has a right to dictate a price, and I think that seller is perfectly within their rights to ask whatever they want.

Why do you feel you have a right to dictate prices to a producer/seller of a game?

"I don't think anyone but a seller has a right to dictate a price, and I think that seller is perfectly within their rights to ask whatever they want."

Try telling that to Kojima who lowered the price down of their next metal gear game because of the back lash lol

I don't feel like I have a right. More so, I wish companies would choose a more appropriate price for a game they're releasing. It's not like I can change anything, but if enough people voice their concerns, it'll be heard. After all, Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes *cough*. This happens to be a simple remaster, so why do they think it's fair to resell it at full price to the fans? Anyway, I'm tired. Thanks for having this non heated discussion w/ me. I actually enjoyed it. Have a good night!

I guess we almost certainly understand the other's viewpoint at this point. Further discussion seems somewhat pointless.
I'm also tired (it is now 3:36 AM here and I have an exam tomorrow), so ending here seems a logical choice.
I enjoyed the discussion to some extent as well. You have a good night, as well.

'What... Ever happened to decent pricing?'
Gamers, my friend, gamers happened. It's because they buy it in the first place that companies do this shit. Why is there a Call of Duty every year? People buy them. Why are there microtransactions? People buy them. Why is there overpriced DLC? People fucking buy them. They know that morons will gladly buy into their ripoff marketing schemes. If people didn't do that, the companies wouldn't profit and as such they wouldn't do it. Gamers complain about this and that in the games industry, but most of the time a percentage of the blame is on them. I saw a chart for best selling games of the week and Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes was 2nd. No doubt that probably means we'll be seeing more overpriced prologues and tidbits in the future.

Yes, that's what it means.

Why would you want to marry him when he has to overcompensate himself on the internet, when there's people like me who don't?! :[

I pity you...

I do hope you can genuinely make friends one day. For I doubt you have a lot, if any at all w/ that little smart ass ego you got going there.

I have quite a bit, actually. Thanks for the worry. Also? In case it wasn't clear? I was being completely non-serious whilst talking to you. I just felt like messing around with someones mind while I waited for some things to finish. Thanks for being my guinea pig.

You can turn it around and say I wasn't being serious all you want, but you continued to insult me left and right. Please don't try and pull that crap.

Guinea pig? Yeah, whatever dude.

I'm never serious, mate. Everybody knows that. Mhm, yeah. Whatever, dude. Groovy. Gnarly. Wicked. Totally. Killer. Other cliche phrases from the 70's.

Except radical. Radical is radical.

So, now you're expecting me to know your personality...? "I'm never serious, everybody knows that". News flash, I'm not everybody. I'm a complete stranger who doesn't even know you. Man, for someone who's as stubborn like yourself, it's surprising that you would go this far to get on someone's nerves.

I said whatever dude because you, once again, continue to insult me. I honestly don't even know how you have friends. You could just very well be lying after all.

It's impossible for the PS4 to have backwards compatibility since the ps3 utilizes a single threaded CELL architecture while PS4 utilizes a X86 multi threaded architecture by AMD.

360 uses power PC architecture and the same aplies here since Xbox One uses X86 architecture.

And you should be happy that they even make a remastered edition of TLOU since you wouldn't be avail to play the game on a PS4 otherwise. Also, it costs a lot of money to port a game from one architecture to the other and therefore it's understandable why they want their money back for it!
