If anything else was needed to be said about the current speed Muira is throwing out these chapters, is that i enjoyed Rickert bitch slapping his former commander. (I don't like talking about you know who.)

So, i've just finished the anime and was really pissed by the way they "finished".

Can someone tell me, where does the manga starts where the anime ends? Or should i read everything from the start?

Read it from the beginning. The anime skipped a lot of stuff.

Definitely from the start. While the anime hit all the 'major' plot points, it glossed over a lot of the details.

No one really seems to like the later chapters.

There is no doubt about that ending but it got me to read the manga. And, as the others have said, you have to read it from the start or you will miss a lot of details.

About Chapter 11. The Anime doesn't delve into the Introduction Arc's of Chapter 1-3, of which 2 and 3 are rather important as hell. I suggest you read those two, as they make a lot of damn sense from where you're currently at. It's essentially the following Episode Arc from where the anime drops off.

Now from 11ish onwards, you have all of Berserk the Manga to read. Good luck with that, it's a big long road.

And Chapter 4 picks off as Guts as a kid, having him grow up and meet the Band and all that Jazz. Not everything the Anime skipped in this section was really important. So you can indeed skip it, and perhaps you'll go back to it later and read it anyways, it's still some stolid shit.

I'm hoping Muira's current hiatus (that looks to be an at end) is his last big one. Considering where we are in the story (3/4 through the story according to an interview he gave a few years ago), I imagine he's spent a lot of this time contemplating how to approach the final act of the manga. Casca's fate looks like it will be decided soon--something that many fans believe to be one of the most important plotlines in the entire manga--so I can only imagine the kind of pressure that's put on him.

Thats true but thats no excuse for him to be going on such large hiatus when he has such a epic he needs to finish. Honestly i just want berserk to be over with so i can then go buy the manga (only holding back cuz i don't want to hear canceled or Muira died of some cause) I can't wait to see what he does. I always wonder do the authors of their respective series know how popular their works are? XD

I'm sure he does. Berserk isn't his whole life. He's probably got plenty of other stuff going on right now too, both personally and professionally.

The best part is that it's going to have monthly releases. Praise the God Hand...or maybe not. Maybe Guts and co will finally get off the boat.
