The first time I tried reading it, I stopped after a couple of chapters cause I couldn't get used to the drawing style.
But after a friend told me about how good it was, I read it again and it became one of my favorite mangas of all time.

Schierke is so serious it's adorable, I'm glad they added Isma to balance her out. She needed some friends her own age.

Actually I wouldn't mind seeing a story with Her, Isma and Isidro plus Sonia and Mule (with Puck and Iva along for the ride of course) I think these five kids are the next generation of heroes for this world

There are no words to describe how much I like this manga. The art is awesome, the story is one of the best I've read and the characters are unique, with incredibly detailed personalities!!

I just looked up vol.31 and 32 on amazon and saw someone charging £110 and £241 respectively. Not even trolling. The cheapest for vol.32 is £93.
That's some bullshizzle right there.

What do you mean??

More like, no one seems to like the newer Berserk volumes as much as the older and more original ones.

Well to be fair, there hasn't really been much plot progression or Guts going "berserk." Last fight was against the Sea God which was okay but it was more of a filler fight and didn't really contribute anything to the actual big story line. Biggest thing that came out of that was that they obtain more party members.

Ever since Guts started increasing his party size the overall series has got a different feel to it and I am okay with it but I can definitely see why some people are less interested in it.

Hiatus until early 2017.

I have a very bad feeling about the next chapter.

Farnese and Schierke are going into a DARK place delving into why Casca is as messed up as she is... I'm almost worried that they won't come out of it unscathed. Berserk has been too cheerful lately. Unless it has turned over a new leaf, we're going to plunge into despair at some point or another, and Casca's dream world is a perfect place to do it.

My only question is whether or no Farnese and Shierke can interract with things in Casca's dream as if they were real objects. If they can, the demons of Casca's past will be just as real to them as they were to her back then, and that could spell disaster. For all we know, we could end up with 3 wrecked minds by the end! (heaven forbid)
