I thought the usage of "swag" and "yolo" had died out by now, but on a Grand Theft Auto forum I frequent, people use them everywhere on said forum.

The people who use those words the most are usually the ones who have chrome cars with dollar sign rims, like the car shown below.

They havn't died out at my school by a long shot. In fact, the usage has only gone up the older I've gotten during high school. It might be dependent on what kind of community you live in, (which speaks volumes to how wonderful my high school is ).

Swag and yolo are merely more words to use for sarcasm to me now. I NEVER use them seriously, unless you're talking about actual swag from something like a convention, then give me all the swag. I'm just waiting for the day when people go from swag to sweg and the Spoderman.

I don't mind them really. Like the guy above me said, I only use them in a sarcastic or satirical way.

I go to a small high school and very rarely hear the word used. (Thank God)

Like other people said, its really just sarcastic now.

I only ever hear it being used as a joke or making fun of it these days. Personally I find them to be stupid and so if I did know anyone who used them seriously I would simply cut them out of my life. The people who use them seriously have nothing to add to my life that is worthwhile.

The freshmen in my high school take "swag" seriously, and when I here them say it while I'm walking in between classes, I laugh in their face. I don't pay it no mind though.
