As most words that become a "trend" will die slowly. Trends are perceived as such because all have an expiration date. If you don't believe me ask your parents (or older friends) which "slang" they used with their friends back when they were young. Make a list of those words. You will realized that none of them are used by anyone today. Most things that are perceived as interesting today, will be perceived as lame in a few years. It's the nature of the beast.

Its not much of a biggy, just like everything else.
Theres nothing wrong with it till you start trying too hard to use it to sound 'cool' n 'in'.

Its true tho Yolo, unless ur a cat with nine lives was it?

420 yoloswag. 1 word. It's so dumb anyone can enjoy it.

Yolo:

Generally used by poorly educated teenagers to justify making poor choices.

Like drinking excessively or smoking cigarettes. Guess what if you only live once your one life is going to suck you will be poor an unhealthy.

But on the other hand it can be used to try and loosen up tight wads.

You've never eaten a tomato ? WTF yolo buddy.

Swag: a 1 person sleeping tent, often used to be homeless people.

They wish they had swagger like mcjagger and ed.

I don't pay any attention to what the masses are doing and saying. I actually only heard of YOLO when my brother was in town from LA last week. I get the impression it's used most often when someone does something they know is dumb but they want to do it anyway.

To me swag is all the brand name stuff people buy to show off that they are "cool". As if following what everyone else does and paying money to have some companies name plastered on your chest is cool. I avoid buying anything that has the name of the manufacturer printed on it.

I hear swag a lot. I haven't heard yolo since I left high school and I'm glad. I found it annoying.

I don't use the words myself. They are rather annoying terms that I don't want to deal with. The only thing more annoying is the hashtag fad.
