Haha, I saw this thread at the top in Site News and thought "Oh, did they get the missing episodes somehow?" "Oh, no, it's just a necrobump."

I've never watched Fairy Tail and don't plan to, yet I have that fact about unlicenseable (not a word) episodes mentally archived. I feel like I could have put those neurons to better use.

Funimation has them all, it's go there or wait to see if the partnership they have with CR brings them over I'm afraid. There's no reason to assume they won't come as we get Funi titles ported every Thursday these days but what comes each week is hard to predict. It's a slow process.

Ah, I never even checked Funi since I wasn't looking for a place to watch the show, that's good :)

A couple other shows with similar situations - fans waiting/hoping for the eventual transfer from Funimation:

By the way, thanks for letting me know about The Dragon Dentist, I'm in England now and watched it recently. Very cool world. I wonder what Sentai will do with their US license, put it on Amazon maybe?

So far it is scheduled to be released Oct 31 on BD by Section 23 Films. Can be pre-ordered in the CR Store, and Rightstuf

No announcement of (legal) streaming in the US yet. Amazon or the TAN replacement hidive.com might be candidates based on the "new" Sentai relationship lately, but being a movie/OVA, it is possible that it might not stream here in the US at all.

HIDIVE appears to be doing a better job on the movie/OVA front for now. I remain skeptical if that will continue, as I remember an all too brief time when TAN was getting new Sentai dubs and even releasing them a bit before physical release. The latter didn't last long at all, and the former didn't persist much after that.
