PS1 and PS2. So many good RPG games for those consoles. I wonder if there can be a PS3 emulator....

Ps2 emulator, must plays include:

Persona 4 - One of the best of the series, P4 takes the quirks and successes of the previous and packages it in a streamlined, amazing game!
Basically a must play.

ICO- One of the original games to come out on the PS2 at the release date around 2001, this quietly elegant RPG puts you in the role of a boy who rejected by his village works to rescue a girl from a castle. The game with its minimal dialogue and bright, deliberate lighting creates a hauntingly beautiful game.

FFX (Final Fantasy X)- Must I say more

I've only ever used SNES and Mega Drive (Genesis to some of you) emulators..... Chrono Trigger, Star Ocean, Thunder Force 4, Breath of Fire 1 and 2, Tales of Phantasia......Gawd, there was a huge bundle of RPG's I had on on Snes9x......

My preferred PS1 emulation program is ePSXe. It's a nice, streamlined interface with plenty of quality add-ons to keep everything running smoothly for most games. PSX Emu Cheater is nice for any coding you might want to do.

For SNES the ZSNES program has always treated me pretty well, and even nicer it comes with the cheat engine built-in.

I have whole slew of emulators (NES, SNES, GBA, PS1, PS2), and by far the one that I have played the most frequently and longest is my SNES emulator, ZSNES.

Vast majority of the time I play Seiken Densetsu 3 (probably my favorite game on SNES), and I used to net play with a friend all the time. Game allows a second and third player to control the other people in your party.

Other frequent games I always play through on my ZSNES are Tales of Phantasia, Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy 2/4 & 3/6.

SNES was like the golden age of RPGs... (PS1 is my second favorite when it comes to RPGs)

GBA, Harvest Moon.

I have a few emulators on my PC but don't really touch them. I mainly use emulators on my phone, GBA, SNES. Once I get my new phone I'll also get a PSP, DS, and N64 emulator on it.

I used to be heavily into 8/16 bit emulation thing. NES/Genesis/SNES and 80s/90s-era arcade stuff. Stuff I played when I was a kid.

I like to think the emulation scene back in the day directly led to things like the Virtual Console and other retro re-releases becoming a thing.
