From what I've heard, they're relatively the same no matter what version...
I picked it up for the vita today and i have to say it's quite entertaining
I would just go with the vita version seeing as it has trophies

I have the 3DS version, and it is quite entertaining.

Especially if you are a Persona fan who needs a vacation.

I have the PS Vita version and so far it is fun. I read one review that suggested the PS Vita version ran better, but that is all I've seen.

You can always download the demo's to both systems and see how it runs on both. The demo is basically the first chapter of the game.

I'm kind of on the fence about it actually. I'm usually a fan of atlus games but this.... i dunno i can't put my finger on it. But it feels "cheap?" I dunno like the story line in a adult movie. Like the dialogue is there just to be there, I dunno I haven't even finished the demo on the vita yet so i can't really give my final verdict but i've been playing it for about a week or two (Not straight) i keep getting bored and stopping. But Have you played Persona 4 Golden? or any persona game? that's what i'm comparing this too and besides art style it's not doing it for me. you have the game so maybe you've gotten to the "good part" But as far as persona goes does it ever get THAT good?

I will be picking this up whenever I have money again. In the meantime I am fully enjoying my time with Persona 4 Golden. Since I just recently got my Vita I will just be getting it for that.

Admittedly, I'm not that far and I can't say for sure until I've finished the game but... no, it doesn't and I doubt it will. There is a skeezy side to this game that I don't like, so that does color my impression, but overall it isn't that bad when compared to many other games and anime. Other than that, I enjoy the game mechanics and some of the humor.

I tried both versions of the demo and decided to go with the Vita version. The graphics during labyrinths on the 3DS was a little painful for my eyes.
Oh and trophies are nice, wish the 3DS had some sort of achievement system to give me something to work on after clearing the game.

With a name like Conception II, how could it not have a 'Skeazy" side to it. I'd say anyone who is turned off by adolescent sexual innuendo and overt adolescent level sexual dialog should stay away from this game. Except when you are in a dungeon, almost every scene has at least some innuendo two it.

The game doesn't take itself serious and is way over the top.

After playing through the first chapter (the demo) and part of the second, I can say that I highly doubt it will ever come close to Persona level of good. The Persona games take themselves seriously and the relationship sim part of it is about helping and watching other characters grow, while you grow as well. Conception is a dating sim with a girl to fit most of the anime tropes except yandere.

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the game, but you got to take it for what it is. A dungeon crawler with a cool fighting mechanic mixed with a light dating sim and a very silly premise. If you are looking for the next Persona, this isn't it.

It's a fun grind. <3Narika<3
If I could play every 3DS game I have on the Vita, I would do it in a heartbeat. It's just so much faster, better looking, and comfortable.

I've been playing on the 3ds. I would be playing it on the Vita if the walmart in my area hadn't stopped carrying the console. I'm hoping they'll start carrying it again when the Slim comes out May 5th. That said from everything I have seen its just a straight port. The 3ds has all sorts of DLCs already too. I'm not sure what trophies are but if they're the same as achievements the 3ds has them too. The Vita is just the more powerful system no question. The 3d for the 3ds is ok but nothing to write home about. The second screen is a nice little bonus though.

The game is kind of creepy. Even more so when you start kicking the kids to the curb once their level cap is too low. I still twitch every time I see the little merchant girl hawking goods on the street. All I can think of is the little match girl. If you can get by the whole making future homeless waifs with high school girls the game can be kind of fun.

It's got a ton of anime tropes which are a lot of fun. You can put a lot of thought in to what type of kids to make with which girls how to build your 3 teams of 3 children. It's almost as complicated as the usual Atlus Demon/Persona Fusing system. Ugh. I didn't mean this to turn in to a review. Get the Vita version the game is the same but the system is better.

But the gift shop (merchant child) vendor has one of the great lines in the game, "Buy lots of gifts, I want all my mommies to be happy".

I tend to look at given them their independence as they now hit star child adulthood. It would be too sad to think of it as kicking the little kid who says "I love you pops" into the streets.
