But the way she says it comes across like "Please sir I want some more" Not only do you kick them to the curb you strip their gear when you do. I wanted to at least leave them that much but no such luck. The only way I feel better about it is eventually there will be enough of them to take over the city once you loose your powers.

I like it, it's like playing an anime because it takes so many tropes, but never takes itself too seriously. Now this does have some fan servicey elements, I thought Fuuko and Narika's costumes were fine and then Chloe and Ellie show up and I feel self conscious playing it on the train. Still it is no Hyperdimension Neptunia so it won't push the bar on your comfort levels.

That being said, it's not gonna be Persona, though it has elements that remind me of it, but it does it's own thing.

As far as costumes on 3DS goes, i'd be weary because I bought the first pack and it's just palette swaps. Pointless palette swaps. That being said the free weapon dlc they gave me was awesome and after clearing three main dungeons and four side dungeons, I haven't needed to change weapons.

Pushing 100 hours on this game, and I still have a ways to go to get to the end. Still enjoying the heck out of it.

As for sending my Star Children out into the world, I like to think they are moving into (and rehabilitating) those areas of Fort City that regular people are abandoning, since the kids are more than capable of fighting off any monsters that show up.

If they didn't like us they wouldn't keep sending us money, right? :)

I picked up a Vita the other day and I downloaded the Conception 2 demo. It was enough to show me that while the 3d effect on the 3ds is kind of neat in combat the Vita version is better. Load times are faster the game is in HD.

It's not enough for me to spend another $40 to get the Vita version but I would have if I had the choice when I bought it originally.

I finished the game last night and I have mixed feelings about it. The highlights for me were the children and the fighting system. I loved some of the things the children said as we went through the labyrinths and it felt like each class of children had their own personality. I found myself feeling sad when I gave the first ranger girl independence since I found the things she said so cute and funny, however the next ranger girl stepped in to take her role. One of my favorite children's line is the ranger girl when you go into Gluttony. The first thing she says when you enter is, "My mouth is bigger". You could see a little kid saying that.

The battle system has enough strategy to keep it interesting, but isn't overly complex. By the end of the game I found myself really trying to exploit the chain mechanism.

The biggest downer for me was the amount of grinding that you had to do to make it through the game and that monster fights became repetitive. Sometimes it felt like lather, rinse and repeat over and over again as I made my way through some of the labyrinths, especially when I need to level up new children.

The girls in the game were mixed. I found myself liking Serina the most as I played through the game and I thought I'd like her the least when I started the game. I found Fuuko's and Serina's stories and endings the most interesting. Some of the others didn't seem as well developed or were just plain boring.

The adolescent sexual humor from the high priest and Chlotz started to get on my nerves as well. I'm not a prude and had no issues with the classmating scenes or dialog *Laughs* , but I'm not 13 and their lines seemed more directed to a tween audience, instead of the game rated mature audience.

So for the most part I had fun and I'm glad I finished it. However, I wouldn't recommend the game to someone else due to the grinding and repetitiveness of the monster fights.

How much time did you put into the playthrough? I'm past the first main labyrinth, but I've also been doing the side labyrinth before hitting up the next major one. Though I haven't been playing since Monster Monpiece came out.

She is my pick for the finale, too. Playing through her events gave me the impression that God's Gift was really, really honest with how he ended up feeling about her.

I lost track of how much time I spent, I'd say over 40 hours at least.

The first several labyrinths are real easy, but then the difficulty ramps up quickly with the 4th labyrinth.

The grinding/repetitiveness of the labyrinths was kinda getting to me already. the rest of the game I was enjoying. still haven't been able to make more than one star child during conception.

Fortunately with Fast-Forward and Tactics, you can reduce the time spent in dungeons. It's still a boring and repetitive grind, but that makes it a little better. Tbh, the only reason I'm still playing is I want to know how the story finishes.

Yeah, that is the only reason why I went through it. Luckily it is easy to see all the endings and get the achievements for them if you have the affection meter in the last bar or maxed out for each heroine.
