This might be one... I was in Help, and the Anime forum updated posts overwrote the top 4 threads.

Nice catch, I'll fix that right now.

Alright, I just published an update (1.8.9.5) which contains a fix for this, and the related thread bug.

Something's borked.... Watched threads and blackisted threads are both empty and un-editable in options:

That is weird, for some reason it isn't running the initialize function like it should. I'll try to see if I can fix it. In the meantime, if you go into the background page and type either chrome.runtime.reload() or initialize() it should fix it.

Edit: The update that is being published right now (1.8.10.2) should fix this problem permanently.

When I try to clear my blacklisted threads list (it's getting kind of long so I wanted to trim it in case there is a performance hit), it appears to work at firs, the numbers go away, but when I close the options window and then go back in, the list has been repopulated as it was before I removed anything. This is different behavior than removing threads from the watched threads box.

Alright, the newest update (1.8.10.10) should fix this. Also, you would need a pretty large amount of blacklisted threads to notice a performance difference, like on the order of 10,000 - 100,000 and even then it would be small.

The (new?) "rich" notifications work when turned on, but turning them off again does not stop the pop-ups, even after shutting down the browser and restarting it. The setting dropdown keeps and shows whatever value you last selected, but the behavior doesn't turn off.

On the show pages, something in the extension is suppressing everything on the right hand side... the picture, the show description, tags, etc...

They all show up if I disable the extension, and disappear again when I re-enable it.

Oh whoops, totally forgot that I put that in there and pushed an update for other things...
Sorry about that. The new home page is just so bad that I rushed to hide the stuff, completely slipped my mind when I updated it.

Seems like a "bug" to me, but could be a known error:

Recently (past week), I kept seeing a message when opening threads from the extension: "Exceeded requests/sec limit." It was occurring every other thread or so, and even started happening when not viewing the forums. I finally got tired of the error message and started pruning the Watched Threads list in my options, and that seems to have helped, at least for now.

I noticed a lot of threads were things that would have been locked, and almost none that I had manually added, so I'm not sure if removing them but leaving the Watched Forums list intact would affect notifications. Maybe having locked threads removed automatically from the list of threads would help alleviate the issue, but the addition of the new Advice... folder, with almost every recommendation/help request getting its own new thread, probably didn't help either.

I have seen it once in the last week myself. I can try to add something that prunes the threads that have been closed, it shouldn't be too hard. I do have it set so that it only sends 1 request every 2 seconds at most, but maybe when you open a bunch of notifications at once it sometimes goes over some limit CR has set.

I usually only open one at a time, but I'll open another as soon as I'm done reading the previous new post.

I don't think I'm that fast a reader, but if that was the problem I definitely would have seen it in the last couple minutes. I'll probably prune the list myself from now on, since I know it can cause a problem if the extension is checking too many threads on my behalf.

Toggling full screen to off seems to make the app "corrupt" and Chrome disables it.
