I'm currently not able to install the Firefox add-on, saying Firefox can't install it because it's corrupt.

Even downloading the .xpi file and dragging it into Firefox come up with the same error.

I've tried it on my current Nightly browser and a clean, portable Dev version (50.0a2), both with add-on signing disabled.

Thanks.

Hmm, I have no idea why it would be doing that. It was installing fine on 50.0a1 and the source files still load just fine. I will try and see if I can do something to fix it tonight.

Edit: So it might be because it is still in the review process, if it is still not working after (if) they approve it, I will see what I can do to try and get it fixed.

I noticed that the achievements (like Quick on the Draw or Anime Convert) do not trigger when using this instead of the official flash player version. I guess the flash player (or their backend) does something else other than just check whether or not all the shows appear in the history. Any idea how they do that check?

I think that because those were only ever awarded for watching on the website and not any of the apps, there probably isn't a way for it to work with my extension since it uses the streams that the apps do rather than the website's flash streams.

I guess that why especially if the apps do not trigger those either. It's probably their backend doing the statistics and only for flash streams. It's not a big deal.

Flash player doesn't even do chroma smoothing thus the HTML5 player or Windows 10 app looks much better (frame pacing too). I can't wait for them to ditch that ancient piece of crapola for good.

Hmm... Did Crunchyroll change something that breaks this extension? It looks like they did do something since all player related settings got reset on all my browsers. Now it only loads the flash player no matter what I do.

The flash player settings were cookie based and it looks like a recent flash update caused those to reset, but it didn't affect my extension at all. Try to reinstall it and see if it is still not working.

Uninstalled -> closed Chrome -> installed -> closed Chrome -> made sure the settings are correct -> still doesn't work. Weird as heck.

Okay, I logged out and cleared all cookies and data for crunchyroll.com and now it works again. Shit happens...
