I've put a 1$ drink back on the shelf after remembering it had a 5 cent deposit, and the .05 after the 1 didn't appeal to me anymore.

I'm so cheap that I recycle a bottle to put my drink from my home to last me the whole day.

Both of these.

Im not cheap im just smart with my money. Look for sales for things that I need. I also buy things that are expensive if there is no other choice.

I go out of my way to find spare change or single dollar bills so I don't have to split a $5+

I save all my bottles and cans for recycling. And going back to panhandling sounds pretty good right now.

Not cheap at all. I spend to much money buying clothes to make my own clothes.

I'm surprisingly not that cheap, but I make absolutely 100% sure that when I buy something it's exactly want, and that I'm getting the best price. Reason being there are only a few things I really use. Those being my PC, PS3, Keyboard (music kind), a Microphone setup, and a tablet. As far as remotely extensive use goes that's all I use so might as well not skimp out. But when it comes to buying things for other people... well:

Against a computer or against a real opponent?

Well, if it's a real opponent, they should know better. They know what's coming and they still getting caught.
"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me," is how they call it.

Exactly. I spam just for trolling. In a good way. lol.

No, I normally just starve until I get home.

I call it being smart.

I buy my books/mangas and sometimes music all used. Saves so much of money, and the copies aren't bad. (And this is where I had to learn to save, because I am a massive bibliophile and simply love to read. I had to learn to save here bigtime).

I buy clothes on sale, or wait to save for them. This teaches me not to have a load of clothes, and to get good usage out of my clothes. It also inspires me to mix and match, and be creative. Sometimes I'll go thrift-store shopping, but only for fun.

I cut my own hair (but this is something I have done since I was a child - I prefer to), and I buy (good) drugstore makeup and know how to stretch things. I make my own lipstick too, and it works so well that people ask me all the time where I got a certain shade.

I eat healthy but cheap, and rarely go out. I don't miss it either.

I take good care of things in general, so this makes this last long. Whatever can be used sparingly is used sparingly.

I know the difference between buying things I want, and buying what I need, and that makes all the difference in the world.
