Is it just me or did CR remove the autoplay button from videos?

I thought it was just something with the anime I was watching (SYD)

So, I tried on some other anime. It's seems to be gone altogether.

Checked my account video settings to see if maybe they moved it there. Nothing.

SO annoying! X_X

It's not just you. I've got the same issue & it really is annoying. I was just trying to find a solution myself. I hope this is a temporary glitch & gets fixed soon.

The space for it is still there, so I expect this is just a temporary issue.

Indeed. There isn't an "autoplay" button to disable anymore, nor a "click to pause" at the end of an episode as with other sites or a way to disable it in the video settings options.

Any one of the three would be okay. But as is, I either have to keep bumping the mouse to try to pause just before the end of a video or disable Flash and go back a page after being involuntarily forwarded. I hope this is a "bug", not a new "feature". Because if it's not, someone thinks that no one would ever want to finish watching a video, then read the comments and/or comment themselves.

I always view with autoplay turned off, so I can confirm it appears to still be following whatever the last setting was.

I take what I said back. It's gone now, or not working anymore. I can't find the active spot on teh toolbar now.


Something changed, or I was mistaking something. Anyway, it doesn't work now.

Moderators...? Moderators don't have anything to do w/ what goes wrong w/ the website. They're just there to make sure everything is under control in the forums and to eliminate spammers and what not. I think you would want admins to chime in...

We're implementing some changes; autoplay may be moved to the Video Preferences page as a global setting. I'll look into this today, and see what's going on.

Edit: It does appear to be a bug, we're working on fixing it asap >.>

Looks like this is fixed / back. I could see the button on the player bar and it works, successfully tested.

At least for me. But, then, it was working in a very weird way for me a couple days ago, and then vanished entirely.

No sign of this in my video setting preferences. YMMV.

I think it should go to the video settings... that's a great idea. Applause in advance if CR does.

It should be fixed for everyone now. Moving it to Preferences is something we're leaning towards, as some other changes come into play. :)
