I personally prefer subbed but I never used be able to watch anime subbed. I had always preferred dubbed until I was forced to watch Naruto in subbed because I couldn't wait for the dubbed version to come out, and after that I couldn't watch dubbed anymore, it just seems wrong and strange when I do.

Just wondering, but did you look through the other 100+ threads about "Subs vs. Dubs" before you made your own?

EDIT: as for me: subbed.

Considering they use the same three actors for dubs I'm going to have to pick subbed. Or raw, that's the best choice for me.

lol yeah this is like the 1000th dub vs sub thread but I guess I'll answer anyways

I watch about 50/50 Dubbed and subbed
Personally I prefer Dubbed anime by far, it's just a much more relaxing experience to be able to lay back and watch some anime on my TV without having to read and miss some of the action.

I can read and still be able to relax and see the action. But then again, I am a fast reader.

If the dub is good then I prefer the dubbed, but most of the time subbed

For the most part I prefer dubbed, but I'm still fine watching subs. Given how many anime I'm watching weekly I kind of have to be, but given a choice 9/10 I'll go dub.

Subbed by far, it feels weird for me to not read subtitles when I watch tv shows and it is the same for Anime.

But if I should watch a dubbed Anime I would want some subtitles in swedish ( Like that would ever happen ), and I prefer hearing japanese voices for most of the shows, because I am "tired" of english so to say ... ?

In my opinion, I prefer subs. I mean both has its own advantages and disadvantages.
Dubbed allows you to focus more on the animation/action itself rather than reading the subtitles. But I also find dubs extremely frustrating especially when the English dub voice actors pronounce someone's name wrong. To me, I find it hard to take it seriously.
I think everyone is entitled to their opinion, but for me subs FTW!

Subs since I take English for granted. I find it uninteresting to hear things I've heard all my life.

I would much rather watch the subbed over dubbed for most shows but there are a few like fruits basket and Dragon ball series that i actually prefer it in english dubbed but i definitely prefer japanese and subs.

I prefer the dub *if* the voices are done well. But I think we can almost all agree that most of the time they are not done well. Magi is one of my most beloved series only second to Hunter x Hunter and it was heartbreaking to watch and listen to the dub trailer. Aladdin sounds like a 5 year old girl, Judar's voice is too high (same voice as Natsu btw). Morgiana's is the only one who I felt really fit.

On the other hand, Fairy Tail and FMA Brotherhood dubs are AMAZING imo. All the voices really fit the characters so well.

I usually watch the subbed first of the whole anime then I go for the dubbed to compare. :D
