Definitely subbed. I rarely go watch dubbed episodes. I'm just really used to reading subtitles and I'm not used to hearing dubbed voices in animes.

i usually prefer sub over dub,but that's only because a lot of dubs (in my opinion) take away some of the seriousness in anime. However there are some exceptions like Black Lagoon. I would prefer the dub over the sub of that anime any day.

I like subs because I prefer Japanese characters that actually speak Japanese. I'll watch dubs and such, but I prefer subs.

I used to watch dubbed before I started watching One Piece and I couldn't wait for the episodes to come out. Since then I nearly always watch subbed, especially if it's something I haven't watched before but when it comes to some things like Fullmetal Alchemist I have no problem with re-watching the dubbed version. However, I will never re-watch dubbed One Piece! It sounds ridiculous to me!

Subbed. I think the voice acting is usually better, and hearing other languages fascinates me, even if I'm not very good at learning them

There are some great Dubs out there. And I appreciate them because they're easier to share with friends, or to half watch when I'm busy. But Subs are still the best. As long as they're done by someone fluent in English. I've seen some dreadful subs out of China. You can tell they're second hand translations. I'd rather deal with bed dubs than bad subs.

Subbed because it makes anime that little bit more unique

I tend to watch anime subbed MORE, and I do enjoy it, but if the dubs are good I prefer to watch them. Mostly because when it's dubbed, I can pay complete attention the the animation and all that, without having to read the subtitles.

SHORT ANSWER: both.

Definitely subbed for me. Watching media in its original language is just more authentic (I wouldn't want to watch a dubbed version of an American show either.)

Subbed. Sometimes I do like to go back and listen to the dub, just to see how well they were able to match up the voices, though. But if I watch it dubbed, I get really bothered about what the original voices sounded like. Also, war cries always sound better in Japanese.
On a separate note, whenever a dub tries to get the shota-y sort of voice for a young boy or whatever, it's almost always a disaster in my opinion.

I really can't put an answer to this one because it totally depends on the series and the quality of dubbing. There are some great ones where I find the dub superior because of great casting. These would include things like Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, and Fruit Basket, FMA. Then there are others where I find the dubbing good except for one character where it doesn't fit (Darker than Black)
Then there are others where I watch it because of the horrible dubbing (Weiss Krutz Knight Hunters)

There are too many variables to just pick a side. I won't stand bad dubbing if I don't want to, and I won't have subs if the voice actors are good and fit the rolls.

Subs but there are some exceptions if the dubs are good.

Depends. Most of the time I'll say sub but there are a few were I'll say the dub is better(mushishi, dragon ball) or on equal terms (yu yu hakusho, ouran high)
