Is there an update somewhere explaining the delay in the 3rd episode of Fairy Tail? It usually updates at 7:30 i think.

I've moved this to Site Support / Minor Questions.

CR says what it can about the delays on the show's page. I'm not sure if you already saw that, and are wondering if anyone can speculate about the details, but in case you missed it altogether, this is what it says:

Due to production issues, Fairy Tail episode 3 will be delayed by a few hours. We will have it up as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

I wish they would tell us what "production issues" mean. This happened a few weeks in a row for the last few episodes of Magi, and I was one of the only people to actually defend CR against the ragers. But now if this is going to happen on a regular basis, I think paying customers deserve to know tbh. I'm trying not to be snotty here, honestly, but this is getting frustrating to deal with.

The reasons may not be disclosable by licence agreement terms... But usually it is because the delivery to CR is delayed. Perhaps the script, perhaps someone just wasn't on the ball. Some companies do the subtitling themselves sometimes instead of letting CR do it always, so if that step is late, then the delivery is late. There could be other reasons as well, but they are unlikely to say. Usually it is out of their hands, though, so they catch the brunt of the users getting upset even if it isn't their fault.
