I'm going to speak for a moment about myself, and I'm curious if any of you have felt similar.

You see, I'm a relatively mellow sort of guy. I don't really like fights, but I love to be in one. When I'm fighting, or sparring, I freaking love it. The rush, the excitement, the feeling. The anticipation that comes with knowing that you are about to visit violence upon someone else, and they you.

So, who else loves the feeling when you fight?

Here is a metal for the "thirst".

But anyway after years of different martial arts disciplines it kinda went away and turned into not really wanting to fight unless sparing with friends or training.

Yes, I do. That's natural. Adrenaline is potent and addictive, after all. I don't like it when the rush induces tremors, though.

violence doesn't excite me in any way...

love, on the other hand... can give me adrenaline rush... and even a fever... [but a feel good fever, not one of those fevers where you feel cold and just want to die on the spot...]

Get in shape (if not already) and seriously look into some competitive sports like MMA and what not if you have a knack for it.

But don't let rage fuel you. Rage turns to hate.

Hate leads to the dark side.

and we all know how that plays out. Haha. Kidding.

We are just as much animals as ..well actual animals. Plus our testosterone doesn't help at all (or does in your case). Try and keep a good balance. Yin/Yang.

I love the feeling myself. But I do try to stay away from problems and avoid violence. And I'm always at a disadvantage because I'm short, I'm 5'4

I LOVE violence. The feeling of blood gushing everywhere and bones cracking. It's just.. I don't know.. satisfying. You CAN solve any problem with violence.

You lay your life before your opponent and that brings about tremendous emotion.

If you're not solving all your problems, you aren't using enough violence. You can even solve math problems with violence!

Sorry can't relate, I get scared, I'm meek. I'm not a masochist.

I run and use my surroundings as an advantage to get away.

And if I can't get away I fight only to survive, with anything from nails to teeth to rocks on the ground, pencils or keys in my pocket.

Any weak spot is viable, from crotch to eyes to throat.

Fighting is scary in my opinion.

Hm, can't say I like violence, but it is a complex issue.. I guess a TL;DR response would be that I dislike watching it more than being in it, in general.

It's an interesting situation - I love watching/performing martial arts katas for their skill and grace, and sparring as a contest of skill is quite fun. But I dislike watching fights where people are attempting harm on one another, and if I see someone getting hurt in person, I'll step in, even if that means I have to use violence as part of that step.. but I far prefer words or gentle actions to stop things when possible.

So I guess for me there's no real thrill in the violence itself, just a desire to stop things, backed up with force if needed, but the sooner it's over, the better. Much more thrill from watching (or learning) the moves that I hope I'll never have to use to harm to someone.

Still, to each their own - my father is a huge boxing fan, never misses a match of his favorites there, and one of my close friends used to box in local lightweight divisions, he loved stepping into the ring.

I've never felt like I can't win a physical fight so the thirst isn't really there.

I like the planning.
I guess i'm more of an ambush predator because I like to end it quick and quiet with not much effort and lots of gain.

Actually my idea of a good fight is carrying a propane tank to the foot path in front of their house, opening it and cleaning it out by the road.

Well the thirst is in violent video games, too.
