Anime doesn't have the same dirty humor that The Boondocks does. Me, being a dirty internet mongrel, loved it. I got all the references without having to search on google, and all the jokes and puns were in my 1st language.

Another favorite of mine, Avatar: The Last Airbender (Don't even mention Korra) was animated by a Korean company, but still retained English humor. So, yeah. I like those two, at least.

I've only seen a little bit of The last Airbender. Never seen Korra, so I couldn't give my two cents. Though I'm curious to why you think so. I've heard it's supposed to be a rather good sequel?

The writers were good at writing banter between kids - which is what the first series nailed. Now, when you make an older teenager whiny (which is what happens in real life, yes, yes) it becomes annoying almost instantly. Character development is there, but every couple episodes it seems they throw out any progress they made. I partially liked it for the first season, they should have stopped there

If you like Korra, you'll like The Last Airbender 5x more, on my honor as a dude with a keyboard. I own all 3 seasons on DVD, but I watched them *cough*illegally*cough* first...
