A hydra deck is definitely fun to play, though it can get expensive since hydras can be a little pricey. The eldrazis are really fun too but again, good eldrazis=$$$

Not true. Play it online it's the exact same experience, except you NEVER run out of opponents. If you're interested, let me know. I'll show you the ropes. I'm not world class, but I have a 3 to 1 W/L ratio. It's simply an amazing game.

i have a vintage video game store around the corner from me, i see people play it a few days a week inside. But they look like a close nit group, i'd be too embarrassed to walk in and ask to play (having never played).

Well i spent like $250 on boosters when BoG came out, and for a couple months was buying like 10 boosters ever other day.
I got money to spend on the right cards. Just show me the way mate. <3

understandable.. i have yet to play with other people myslef. they all look pretty close nit groups.. even the store workers are all exclusive acting lol. but bravery has its benefits, as nothing ventured..nothing gained..or so they say.

I played over a decade ago. Everyone else was into Yu GI Oh! and Pokemon so there were a lack of players for MTG. I've thought about getting back into it but the nearest place that hosts games is like a 100 mile round trip.

I also played a little over a decade ago, but I was also into Yu Gi Oh!. My high school had a good mix of all card games out at the time. I definitely had a blast but I ended up having to go to another school and pretty much no one played so I was pretty much forced out of it. I had a sliver deck back then and a few others I don't remember at the moment. I'd start playing again but like others said I don't nearly have enough time with family, work and school. I will try at some point maybe but we'll see until then have fun.

Well seeing as money isn't an issue, I can type out my deck list if you want and suggest some of the cards if you want.

Would be awesome if anyone wanted to get rid of a pile of old cards :) $$$

I got rid of all the card my brother and I collected over the years by throwing them in the bin. He wasn't too happy. We had a good collection too.
