I wish I had learned how to play this...Sadly I don't know of anyone in My area that plays and could teach Me...

Just google comic shops in the surronding area! They usually host FNM (Friday Night Magic). It's a lot of fun, but you NEED patience. It's a very mechanical game with a lot of math involved. Not to mention, there's certain times where you can do things, such as for instance, let's say it's main phase 1: *Play a land* *play a creature*, now, unless this creature has haste, it has summoning sickness os therefor, it can't attack or use any of it's activated abilities. But, once it's the opponents turn, you may begin blocking with him during an attack phase. It takes a little while to get down, but you'll get it down in a couple of games. Took me three games to get the ball rolling, after that the hard part comes in: Understanding strategy and learning the meta and how to break the meta, especially in your region.
Best of luck!

Thank You for all of that Info, My Friend! I really appreciate it!

I used to play quite a bit, but then people moved away, and even though the shop owner said I could bring my son to the shop for game nights or on the weekends, it was still a bit much because he wasn't really old enough for it then. So I just have a bunch of cards and decks now, kinda just waiting until I meet more people in the area that play.

Besides the card/paper MTG there are digital versions of the game, magic the gathering duel of the plains walkers 2013/2014, iOS has a version for tablet/mobile.
The newest version of MTG 2015 on console looks solid, mulitcolor deck building among other things.
Used to play in highschool but quit the card version a long time ago, check out trollandtoad.com and amazon.com if your still looking for cards.

Edit: also forgot to mention the videogame versions of the game offer an easy to learn training tutorial for new player, the tutorial is really easy to learn and after going through it you'll be playing on your own in less than 10 mins.

I played a lot from 1995-2003 and I have a hundred thousand cards all boxed up in my attic. Havent touched them in years but I know I have an all avatar deck, direct damage deck, stasis deck all of which I would destroy anyone with. I also have 1 black lotus and hundreds of cards that used to be worth $10-50$ back then -- wonder what these things are worth nowadays
