Kill it, then hunt for its friends, relatives, and casual acquaintances. Destroy them all.

I voted quarantine.

If I was in the spider's place, I'd like the room's owner to give me some alone time before I left lol.

Kill it..? It's the only logical thing to do unless you want to lose sight of it.

Depends how big it is. I'll leave small ones alone .

I live in a part of the country where spiders are helpful and not dangerous. I actually kind of like spiders. So when I see them I do nothing.

Am disappointed to see that MakotoKamui is a spider-killer (but I'll wait to hear a story before passing judgment)

Hm, true, I should really be more specific when telling my tales of spider attacks and retaliations. Most of the spiders that invade my house are Brown Recluse / Fiddleback or Black Widow.. their danger ranges from 'kinda' to 'potentially deadly to kids', and I always hope that my niece will visit, so I don't want such dangers lurking here. These days, I destroy on sight.

I've only been bitten by a recluse once (recently), which wasn't terrible (though a friend of the family has a hole in his face from such a bite), while I've been hit repeatedly by black widows with no obvious issues other than pain. But I've heard they can be very bad for kids, and I don't want to risk them nesting in here.

For anything else, I just escort them outside if I can catch them, or ignore them if not. I figure they can catch bugs for me or something.

Now, for outdoor spiders, I rather like watching the tarantulas. They walk in migration lines, it's neat to see...

I'm horrified of spiders (which is lame I know don't laugh), so I freak out and run into the other room in hopes that someone can kill it for me TT^TT.
Lately, I haven't seen any, but I bascially just jinxed myself... Oh well...

Okay. My judgment is that you are still a good person.

I kill them on the spot, except for daddy long legs, I quite like them. And the reason why I kill the other spiders, is because I get a really bad reaction towards spider bites, and I am never too sure which ones I am allergic to, but for sure I do know that daddy long legs have never bitten me, and they are actually quite cool to look like.

Also, did you know that they are venomous to other spiders (well if they bite other spiders)? Pretty darn cool

I either leave them alone or gently place them back in the great outdoors. I try not to kill anything if I can help it.

If my cat has cornered one, though, I will kill on site just so she doesn't get bitten. (My cat will never kill them herself, she'll bat them around.)
