Out of the options you listed... probably the South of France or Hawaii.

I travel to Korea on business now-and-then and while I have a great time every time I go, I'm not interested in retiring there. It's fun, the people are amazing, and I fall in love with someone on each trip, but not a great place to retire, IMO.

Maine is awesome as well. An old college friend of mine lives there. However, after living in a cold weather US state most of my life, I can say that the older I become, the more the cold weather bites deeper into my soul. I never thought I'd want to die some place warm, but I think it might be easier.

I'd probably just buy an island in Polynesia and start my own micro nation.

Hmm...I'd pick Maine out of those choices, since i think staying in my country would be an ideal place to retire. Always wanted to move to somewhere not California.

I would pick Sweden. Remember having to research a country and picking Sweden taught me so much about it. I wouldn't mind retiring there, with all the things I can sightsee and relax at.

I'd also like this option.

I'm fond of here. Maybe not exactly here, in the city, but a bit outside of here. Still on the Bay, though.

My option wasn't there.. I'd probably move out west in the U.S., somewhere in the country or California. I'd also really love to retire and move to Italy, since it's culture is one of the many I'm very interested in(especially the food).

Hawaii. Vacationed there once, loved it. Even planning to go there for college.

I'd like to visit Korea again (amongst other places) for the food. I do enjoy spicy food (sometimes).

I'm voting other.

Skiing is a passion of mine and while there is some skiing available where I live, the mountains are small and the season is short. I'd like to retire to the Western part of the US, likely Utah or Colorado, perhaps Oregon where there is great skiing nearby.

Now if money is no object, I may start looking at some of the towns in the Swiss Alps.
