I am hugely into PC gaming for a couple reasons: one being that modded gameplay can hugely increase replay ability. Also I like having the choice between using a gamepad/joystick or using a keyboard. One thing that I don't like about PC gaming is that all the major services (Steam, Uplay and Origin) have horrible achievement systems. When I used to game on my 360, achievements and my Gamerscore was one of the things that kept me into games trying to 100% them. I slightly understand why the only system Steam has to keep track is via % of achievements completed though. There are games like Road Redemption that have around 20 achievements and then there's games like TF2 and Payday 2 that have well over 300 which would greatly increase the chance of you buying a specific game if there are more achievements. Which would then make it a race to see who can make a game with the most achievements. It's a hard dilemma to fix but it is the main reason why even though I game solely on PC I'm starting to look at the Xbox One.

Out of these I prefer PC and Cell phone, but I've always been with Playstation and PC since I was a young child. I just can't really find my self liking playstation 4 games much I don't know what it is about them maybe once the FF's and FairyFencerF2 and KH's 3 and Naruto Shippuden UNS 4 come out I'll play a bit more often.

Out of those in the poll I'd have to say PC as it's the most versatile gaming platform with a vast library of games from triple A titles to a plethora of indie titles....however if we're talking an actual console I would have to say PS2/PS3 as the library of console exclusives among other titles are vast plus though I admit PC gaming will always be the best in terms of accessibility, technicality, and versatility.....there's something very warm and nostalgic for me about having a controller in hand in front of the television having the hours past by over anything else. There's just a different kind of sensation and feeling you get with a console experience outside of technicalities and benchmarks that PC doesn't offer in my personal opinion. But to each their own I don't discriminate on gamers based on how they enjoy their games, but rather praise the diversity we have in gaming communities in those that indulge in maybe a single platform to those that love gaming enough to play through any kind of medium without discrimination as well.

Oh! On a final note I would have voted PS4 but honestly it's going to take another 2 years I think for the library to grow enough for me to consider it on par with older generation consoles or PC as for me personally there are still plenty of games that have yet to come out that has excited me on the level of releases with say the PS2 for example which I would claim lived through a "golden age" of gaming back then but that is just me.

PC .... just PC.
My reasons:
My original base system was £300 (eBay parts FTW) (AMD Athlon II X2, 4GB DDR3 + NVIDIA GTX 285)
Humblebundles exist (normally 6-10 games for under $10!)
I can use it to watch CR + other video sites
It's a PC ... You get all the benefits like proper web browsing, Sony Vegas, Mixxx for DJing, Spotify, MS Office etc...
I use my synology to host a mumble server for £0 / month extra .... free VoIP.
Steam .... enough said.
I can use it to learn Japanese on (Human Japanese + Memrise + Anki)

Not going to lie; My final build is like ~£1250 BUT I got £800 one day and decided to get the latest and greatest CPU, Motherboard and RAM it could afford (i7-5820K, ASUS X99-S .. RMA'd to a Gigabyte X99 Gaming 5 and 16GB DDR4). It's only ever loaded to about 30% while gaming. The only time I max it out is video rendering.

PC
1st : if its a 3rdPS,FPS or RTS,mouse and key is the best ...the good thing is,u can just use a usb controller if u wanted it,for other console,u cant have that privilege, some console is modable, but it take too much work

2nd : emulation,i can use a moderate pc,and play nes/famicom/snes/PS/DC/GC/n64/pc engine/pc88-98/msx/fmtown/x68000/mega drive/and the list go on.there is no other console that can emulate this much of a system.

3rd : its a pc! u can use it to do other thing beside gaming!

I prefer consoles for all the reasons console gamers tend to.
I don't own any current gen consoles yet. Still wavering between PS4 and Wii U. I really like the Wii U for it's small size, low price, and low power consumption. However, I dislike the fact that it has absolutely pitiful 3rd party support.
PS4 is ugly as sin, and I don't care enough about graphics to feel like the power consumption is justified to me. However, it will play host to virtually every notable 3rd party title for the next ten years, and, as I click "purchase" on all PS Plus titles every month, I already have access to a fair number of titles on that platform.
I must admit, PC gaming is looking more and more interesting lately. Steam big picture mode sounds appealing to me, and the Alienware Alpha is both smaller and less power hungry than typical PCs. JRPGs are getting ported to PC more... Steamboxes are definitely something I'm keeping an eye on.

PS4, while I have a PC, these are the reasons:

- PC dominates in terms of games and versatility, however consoles pay attention to comfort. I can pick up and play a PS4 virtually anywhere as opposed to a large PC, sure the laptop would go against this, but I am arguing what I have, not what others have.

- PS4 is universal, I can pretty much guarantee that if the PS4 is plugged in, it will work. PC holds the advantage over power and performance, but every gamer on PC has run into the wall of a game not working for some unknown reason. This is probably what kills PC for the average console gamer.

- Local Multiplayer, most PS4 games have a form of multiplayer in it, this is not always true for PC, especially with the popularity of Steam

- Controllers. PS4 have controllers as opposed to mouse and keyboard. While M&K is obviously better than controller in terms of performance, controllers have the luxury of being mobile as opposed to M&K, which is stationary. I can walk around, go into another room, and pass the controller around, this is not as easily done, or not at all depending on the set up, for the M&K. Sure the truth is that PC has controller support, but here is a truth, 100% of PS4 games have controller support, this is not true for PC.
