I was just wondering if there was any plans to support up and coming OS such as sailfish and Ubuntu Touch!

It seems clear that crunchy roll is good at supporting things even if some expected ones come out longer then expected (IMPO XBO not having an app and windows phone aparently having one both somewhat shock me!)

Canonical and the people at jolla are sure trying to make there OS's work and I'm sure that there will be alot of dedicated people on both platforms (Ubuntu Touch for me)

Maybe ubuntu touch isn't ready to support videos quite yet, I mean you can play enbeded youtube videos, and you can hear the audio of nico nico videos now, but you cant play youtube videos on youtube and you cant see whats happening on nico nico videos, and I wont be surpriced if Crunchy roll wants to at least wait for Ubuntu Touch to be officially launched!

I think its worth making an app for these OS's because it's clear that with the Ubuntu Touch OS being ported by fans to there device (Xperia, Samsung, HTC alot of popular smart phones have a port now) and with sailfish being officially supported on many devices by the people at jolla, I feel that its clear that theres going to be quite a big audiance!

Personally I just want an official Crunchyroll app on my nexus 7 running ubuntu touch!
I'm not expecting an "we are developing an app for these devices" but rather I'm hoping for an "We are looking at this device but nothing is concrete right now", but hey if you can say that you're developing a ubuntu touch version of Crunchyroll I wouldn't be upset! *wink, wink, nudge, nudge*

I wouldn't expect much before the platforms are launched. The only time I recall hearing that is with the PS4, and that has a huge built-in user base that was expected to upgrade, and must have been a simple process to port the existing app to the new hardware.

Fair enough, It's mainly because these OS's look like they could be big soon, Windows Phone has an app and doesn't have much marketshare, even some smart TV's, and they don't seem that big, so I could imagine them looking at these, and I couldn't imagine Ubuntu Touch being hard to develope for, and you can side load crunchyroll to Sailfish, so that most deffinatly wouldn't be to difficult!

I mean as I said I don't expect them to be developing anything, but I'm just dead hopeful they are just looking at them!
And also if you want something to happen, even small noices like this can help, expecially if it suddenly turns big xD
At least they know some people are intrested in it happening!

But if they aren't looking or don't even know Sailfish or Ubuntu Touch, I wouldn't be to supriced!

Its funny, Ubuntu Touch needs more apps to roll, but crunchy will probably want ubuntu touch to roll, before we get Crunchyroll!
(I made a punny! sorry its so bad xD)
