As much as I don't like Chris G, I must admit the way he plays is GODLIKE as boring as it is.

I never did like SFXT, who/what team do you play?

My friend, you need to play KILLER INSTINCT.

If you go to DOJO, it will teach you the basics and you will have a blast!

Man, Killer Instinct is not easy at all. assuming you mean the new one. That game takes some real time and dedication to pull off those combos. I love trying and it's fun, like you said, but man. It's not easy.

I feel like if the OP has a fighting game out there he should try, it's probably the newest Mortal Kombat. It's got depth to it, too, but it's a little easier to pick up. You'll still get juggled and zoned hardcore if you go online without knowing what you're doing, but at least you can do things like focus on the story mode if none of the rest of it appeals to you. It's got the best story mode of any fighting game ever, so there's plenty to like there.

Where is your competitive spirit? C'mon, man, there's nothing like settling a dispute/argument over a good round of Street Fighter.

Heh, I know what ya mean.

Took it me a awhile to know how it works.

Took me a awhile to get good at pulling off combos, but I'm doing pretty good now.

Mostly with Orchid and my main man Jago.

I, personally, can't knock any genre of gaming since it works out there for someone. However, I don't care for fighting games either. It's not to say I can't have fun with them or win, I just get extremely bored with them after awhile. It doesn't have that variety for me. Like different matches can vary; especially, with how close a match is or how bad you lost, but the concept of it all just doesn't capture me so typically I don't try to learn to be excellent in it because I don't care to. I'll probably pick a game up to play the storyline and to have to play with friends but it is VERY short lived right afterward

If you like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, play All Star Battle and CyberConnect has gotten really good at making fighting games that score so well. Fighting games aren't really that complicated as someone else already stated in page 2, by the way, I played them well as a child and I can do the same as an adult. Fighting games are one of many challenges to being a true gamer, which I probably aren't yet, but getting there.

Fighting games are what got me into gaming in the first place and I have no idea what you've been doing in your childhood.

You could use Youtube as your sensei and just study videos when you want to learn basic footsies and BnB combos.
