like some others have said. Check with your insurance company, and look into warranty and return options. The laptop and tv should definitely be covered by the respective companies (might have to...stretch the truth...a bit if "acts of god" arn't covered >_> ). sorry to hear that happened though :(

I feared for my computer...our power went out, and normally I leave my comp on, so when it wasn't on....I was scared. lol totally gonna buy me a surge protector, need the extra plug space too.

Hi! I'm closing this because as it stands, this is a personal thread, and it doesn't seem to have resulted in general discussion--such as others sharing what happened to them today, or a particularly bad day they had ever, etc.

However, I didn't find anything recent for telling tales of an especially bad, or unlucky (or lucky) day. Therefore feel free to create a new thread with that focus--just make sure it's clear in your opening post that it is a thread for folks to share their own stories and yours is just to get things started.
