Do you go to any shopping centers, or districts that sells Anime related goods?

For me, it's China town. There's lots of places around there that sell Anime stuff. I got most of my Gundam's from the underground malls over there.

Do you guys have places like this? Or do you prefer to order your anime things online?

I think one of the best things about shopping for Anime, & comic stuff is that you could go with your friends, & explore while you're there. Every time I go, I end up drinking a stores signature bubble tea, or eating dumplings with a group. You can't buy that sort of feeling online. On the down side, it can be very tiresome to walk all over the place. Worst then that, sometimes you might not even find the thing you're looking for. x_x Online is definitely the smarter way.

don't know any around here...

there's a bookstore here that sells anime/manga, but they're always behind the USA's releases. and sometimes more expensive if the currency rate is equal to US dollar.

so I like to order them online.

I just buy stuff online. There's a store at my mall that has anime stuff but there isn't a huge selection of stuff to choose from. Mostly Hello Kitty, Gundams, Figures & CDs.

Don't have one of those, I fear. If we did, I'd go there for what I could and get the rest online. I just love the smell of bookstores and libraries. All that paper and ink.

I don't have one here, but I have visited the stores at different states and countries that I have traveled to, and it's just a nice experience that you can't get from shopping online. I'd rather go to the store and look around. It's more entertaining that way.

We have a China Town, here in Las Vegas, but I have never really checked what kind of stores there is. I might go, just to see if there's some kinda of anime store or something...

Tokyotown.

I seldom went to Akiba back in the day, but it's less crowded here and I can drive.

I don't have any around where I live. I usually just cross border and go to Montreal, which is like 1 hour drive for me, and purchase goods there. They have lots of shops related to anime and manga.

Sadly nothing like that near where I live, not even in what is commonly denounced as Asian-Town, a small section of downtown with mostly asian good stores and restaurants.

There are a couple, and I mean few enough to count on one hand, within like 45 miles either direction of me that are stores that sell Anime related goods, but only one of those sell legitimate goods, the rest are knock-offs that you can tell are knockoffs at first glance. Sadly that one store has a very small selection.

So far I do my Manga buying from B&N. My one figure came from CR's store (that came from Good Smile Company), my calendar and VN's have all come from J-List (would buy figures there but CR has better deals as a member), and my two wall scrolls came from a convention. Everything else was either given to me or won in some contest.

I live in the suburbs, so there is nothing like that around here. I wonder if Tampa has a chinatown
