You should read the manga if you haven't already. That stuff is amazing

I'm thinking of buying and reading the manga at the end of the year, if I don't see any sign of a second season.

I usually don't read the manga of a series unless I absolutely have to...

<-- prefers anime.

Same here. I never really read manga, and Aku no hana was my first. Even after that ive just read like 2-3, because very few can compare to it ^^ The stuff that happens after the anime ending, is just mindblowing.

I can tell >_> from episode 13 previews. feels like it's getting darker and more depressing which is just how I like my anime.

It's more than just dark and depressing ^^. ''Aku no hana bends the limit of what can be achieved within a realistic story'', is what i would describe it as. When i first picked it up, i sat a entire day reading up to the current chapter, and it changed my perspective on things. Also, the anime only got far enough to be like a setup for the rest.

Wow, really? I never thought it could get any better. But you make me want to go to a bookstore to get all the manga now

I totally agree, the realism in the characters is so accurate and precise...

Nobody's going to mention Ah! My goddess (OVA)? Belldandy was my first ever anime crush, haha.

As for slice of life, Genshiken and Genshiken Second Generation are my two favorites.

Favorite romance: Toradora! or Kimi ni Todoke.

As for slice of life, Azumanga Daioh is still the gold standard for me.

For me, it's got to be Clannad After Story and Golden Time.

Clannad After Story being my number 1 though.

I loved both shows to death though. They were both dramatic, romance filled, funny, and the slice of life elements were very real and I could relate so much.

I would say Nagi no Asukara as well, but its fantasy so I don't think that counts.

Clannad by a mile It's the only anime that can make me laugh and cry with all the seriousness in every episode. No other anime can complete that.

Completely agree.

Romance: Love, chunibyo, and other delusions. The characters are all so likable and i just really enjoyed the show

Love, chunibyo, and other delusions I probably have one of the most emotional connections to of all the anime I have seen. I completely agree about the characters being so likeable. It is such a delightful show I can't help but be over joyed when I'm watching it.

Honey and Clover is a pretty good one for Slice of life

For Romance, I mean c'mon, what more of an answer could you get from a lot of people besides Toradora? Its good story telling, its a home favorite and
